  1. With respect you are being overly negative for the exact reason you identify. Whilst we weren’t great, you’ve only got to look back to the Hull game to see what abysmal truly is. Personally I sense the tide is turning. We were the better side tonight (though noted we offered up some decent chances), and at last we’ve had a striker put in a proper striker’s difference making performance.
  2. Jesus that was hard work. I reckon things are turning though and we’re only 3 points off the playoffs despite our 1 ⭐️ start. If Ross stays fit he is - finally - what we’ve been crying out for.
  3. Ref done us a favour there, TF there’s no var though I doubt they’d have overturned it. Quarshie was shit again there.
  4. Definitely a good striker. Please god he stays fit. In other news I cannot bring myself to have any faith that we won’t fuck this up.
  5. Agreed, and we should’ve just gone 2-1 down there 😅
  6. Come the fuck on. Stewart is looking good tonight, we ARE looking much better generally. The tide has got to turn. SURELY…..?
  7. Just fuck off. What have we done as fans to deserve this relentless ineptitude?
  8. Quarshie was nonexistent there. FFS its SO hard supporting this club right now. Doing my head in.

    Finn Azaz

I thought he was handy against the ball and all that. I thought he looked tidy against the ball.
  10. Weak league this season. If we can’t finish top 6 in this then I simply give up. Not sure I want us to but there’s another thread for that kinda chat.

Jesus, if any of them have the temerity to throw strops for being dropped after that shit last week then quite frankly they can fuck off.
  12. Hmmmm Azaz chance, Quarshie header from 2ft. We were generally dominant they created absolutely fuck all and got lucky with a deflected goal. Didn’t deserve to win in the sense we didn’t take our easy chances I guess, but we really ought to have won that however you slice it.
  13. Indeed. I don’t think they looked very good at all. Indicative of this being a weak league imho.
  14. I didn’t think it was a fair result at all but otherwise agree with all that.
  15. Agree there. Stewart was fucking anonymous from what I saw today. Generally we were much, much better today so well done Will for shaking it up but you have to worry where the goals are coming from.
  16. Lucky cunts. That’s why you need to take your chances.
  17. Azaz ffs
  18. American crowd complete bunch of cunts.
  19. What else is there to do but laugh. It’s fucking like that from A.M that make Baz An even vaguely considerable option. Other than that though been much much better.
  20. I’ve got to say that no self-respecting club at our level should be appointing a ‘kid who’s new to the game’. It’s just way too risky and the risks are being realised.
  21. Thing is he looked shit in his highlights reel.

It’s not simple and tbf I didn’t say it was. It needs careful planning thought and consideration to get it right even when the cards are stacked in your favour as they are in our case in this league. I just don’t think the planks in charge, the ones who anre responsible for ‘the state we’re in as a club ant the moment’ are capable of that, I really don’t. They lurch from one fuck up to the next and here we sit week after fucking week suffering because of it.

It should not be difficult to appoint a manager who - given the resources available to us at the level we are playing in - would have us right up there in the battle for automatic promotion. Jesus Christ even Russell ‘worst start in 80 years or whatever it is for Rangers’ had us up there. Instead we try to be clever and bet the house on an inexperienced 32 year old who I am virtually certain is thinking at this very minute ‘fuck me this job’s too much for me’.

Indeed. It seems all you have to be is well organised against us and he’s done. Knew nothing about the bloke, had never even heard of him before he started being mentioned as a possibility for us on here. A bit of wiki research didn’t really reveal anything to get too massively enthused about so I had severe misgivings when we appointed him, but in SR we trust and all that, lets see how it goes……..Since then one flakey win in the league, one performance and win where we actually looked decent - against Norwich reserves - and virtually nothing else. Not a hint that he knows how to counter opposition tactics, no signs that there is a plan that is not quite clicking yet, no signs there is any sort of plan. All of this is set in the context of having what is for this league immense financial backing and a squad of players that 90% of our opponents could only dream of affording. Today was easily the worst display of the season, so things are getting worse not better. Let’s face it it ain’t looking good.
