  1. Fair play to the manager.
  2. Difficult for Still to select in a few positions. Who do you drop from Downes, Casper and Charles? Charles has been decent as has Casper and Downes was really good the other night. Who do you play wide? Frazier has been good this season, Armstrong good the other night and has scored a goal, Fellows is highly rated at this level, Robinson a really good young player. Do you play 5 at the back and probably sacrifice Azaz? For me, the simple choices are to drop those that have been woeful - Stephens, THB, Baz, Downs and the RB from Brentford. I don’t envy Still. I hope he shows a ruthless streak, because if he doesn’t and keeps picking under-performing players it’s his job on the line. I was really encouraged by our general play against Liverpool after the horror show v Hull. A lot of that was down to a change in personnel - players who don’t seem to just be able to play RussBall.
  3. Yep. Absolute onions.
  4. Nobody is saying that about McCarthy to be fair.
  5. Fucking iPhone 😀
  6. Playing Bazunu will lead to more goals conceded from weak shots. McCarthy's weakness is distribution. Just tell him to hit it long, when he did on Tuesday it was ok. I would rather have McCarthy's goalkeeping and hitting it long than Bazunu's frankly amateur goalkeeping and being able to pass the ball to feet 20 yards. 2 saves that McCarthy made on Tuesday, the early one and another low shot in the first-half, are goals with Bazunu playing. He is the goalkeeping equivalent of Damien Downs.
  7. I wouldn't write off Downes and Charles just yet. Downes was much more positive with the ball on Tuesday, so the partnership could have a different dynamic on Saturday.
  8. Would start the same back 5 and keeper as the other night. Not really controversial as you’re only dropping players that have been shite.
  9. Drop Baz, Stephens, THB, the RB from Brentford and Downs. Flynn has to play, he was really good last night. More positive with the ball, hopefully RussBall is being exorcised. Anyway, it’s only Boro. Went there in 1984 and the stench is still with me. Hopefully, there are hygiene measures being put in place to prevent infection from the unwashed northerners. Hopefully, there’ll be some charity workers at the ground collecting soap donations that they can pass on to the minty fuckers. Will, be brave with your selection and we’ll fucking rip them apart. Stick with the usual suspects and we’ll get more of the same.
  10. Why did Still bring him on? They must see how poor he is in training. Valenciennes beckons, or Sholing. At least Souness quickly realised how bad Dia was and hooked him off. Those responsible for his signing should really be relieved of their positions, he’s that bad.
  11. The mere fact that he wasn’t playing Bazunu Dodgeball is enough for me for him to keep his place.
  12. Edwards did nothing wrong and was pretty decent on the ball. I would play him in front of Stephens all day long.
  13. Not sure we were watching the same game.
  14. Really decent performance. Please don’t bring the usual suspects back for Saturday.
  15. Best I’ve seen Downes play in ages.
  16. Absolute fucking bullshit
  17. Good half apart from the stupid goal. McCarthy is such a twat, makes a few good saves then does that. Onion.
  18. Personally, I don't want to see Bazunu, Harwood-Bellis, Stephens and Downs anywhere near the first XI. I'm tempted to include Manning and the RB as well, but not sure about their replacements.
  19. Yes, but he's 5'11" when he jumps.
  20. To be fair, he could probably become a world champion at Dodgeball.
  21. If he's a better keeper than he was an outfield player he must have been dogshit.
