  1. The key is to give the missus plently of warning...I warned her before xmas that I was going to Bristol.
  2. O for **** sake, I'm in Australia...what a bummer!
  3. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~1547842,00.html arse!
  4. I will be sorely ****ed off if this game has been called off. I still find that going to football is the only thing that gets me through the week.
  5. This would back up what someone else has just posted in another thread that the match has been called off...
  6. Well...where did you hear it from? Chiltern FM?
  7. Thats if we even bother to go to SA, aka the arse hole of the world. Much rather wait another 4 years and go to Brazil.
  8. Has there been much snow/has snow been forecasted in Hertfordshire?
  9. I remember hearing the presenter say "...and Svensson has been injured in a pre-match warm up", never did I think that 5 years later he would still be crocked.
  10. Not necessarily, however it always happens that if you boo a former player they will score at some point. Already happened this season with Best at the Ricoh, but then again, on that day anyone would have scored against us!
  11. Applaud or boo? I say applaud.
  12. Myself and Le God the Legend + 1
  13. I wouldn't be able to support anyone else!
  14. Typical Saints in my opinion tonight. Work hard to get the equaliser and then stop concentrating!
  15. Blades down to 10 men, Henderson sent off.
  16. I'd like to see McLaggon start tonight
  17. I reckon 2-0 saints
  18. Your right this is a bit late but tbh we havent even been totally aware of the coverage on this forum until very recently as the protest was set up on facebook. The reason we decided to start this march is because we ourselves were saddened by the scenes and decided that as the majority of saints fans agree that it is time for change then it is about time we did something about it in the proper way instead of just seeing fans kicking of in the stands etc... which is embaressing and detremental to the club. Either way, thankyou for your wishes of good luck, I appreciate it but I hope it is not needed. Lets agree to disagree on this one but agree with one other thing that during the game we want full support of the team. Up the saints!
  19. Hi, this is Tom again on Bens account. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ THIS AS I FEEL IT FURTHER OUTLINES PEOPLE QUERIES ABOUT THE MARCH In the demonstration we want to express the fact to wide media coverage that saints fans are united in wanting change in the boardroom. I understand that Leon Crouch is prepared to step into the ''limelight'' as it were and take charge of the footballing decisions in the club again and this is what we want to achieve. We want Lowe and Wilde to step aside from making footballing decisions (and leave the club for good if someone could financially support this) as they quite obviously have no idea what they are doing and just seem to make mistake after mistake. , After the Donnie game we were fed up, as were 99% of supporters, at the fact that people feel the time and place to protest is during the game. This is not the time or place to do such a thing and this is why we have decided to organise a demonstration of our opinion before the match. Spontaneous protests do have greater impact this is true but usually because they are violent and for this reason we decided it would be much better to organise something, that the police are involved in the running of, that will be totally peaceful. Just to reiterate that we have gone to every length (and will continue to tomorrow) to ensure that this is peaceful and that we can all voice our opinion in a civilised manner to as much media as possible. We have a large turnout from the police on the march and any uncivilised incidents will be dealt with swiftly. To all the doubters, I hope that this post will help you in your decision if you are unsure as to whether to join us or not. Please remember that we all feel the same about the current situation the club is in and all just want to be done with this mess so we can move forward again as a united SFC and this seems at the moment as the very best way that we can achieve it. Thanks for your time and we hope to see your support tomorrow P.S. JUST TO ADD, PEOPLE WILL PROTEST WHATEVER HAPPENS, AS WE SAW AT THE DONNIE GAME. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE MARCH IS SO THAT PEOPLE CAN PROTEST AND VOICE THEIR OPINIONS BEFORE THE GAME THEN SUPPORT THE TEAM. BY ORGANISING THIS MARCH WE HAVE NOT ASKED PEOPLE TO PROTEST OR CHANGE THEIR OPINION, WE ARE JUST TRYING AS HARD AS WE CAN TO MAKE PEOPLE DO IT IN A MORE ORGANISED WAY RATHER THAN JUST KICKING OFF IN THE GROUND SPONTANEOUSLY. I FULLY UNDERSTAND THE VIEWS OF THOSE NOT WANTING TO PROTEST AND HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH IT, I WOULD JUST PREFER THAT WE VOICE OUR OPINION IN A MORE PRODUCTIVE MANNER RATHER THAN EMBARRESING OURSELVES AS WE DID TWO WEEKS AGO. FOR ONCE LETS UNITE AND TRY TO GET SOMETHING DONE IN A CIVILISED WAY.
  20. Hi, this is Tom (relaying info from the facebook group) on Ben's account. This is the only post I will be making on this subject today so I hope it comes across ok and answers all questions. The protest and accompanying march is now going to be covered by Sky Sports news, ITV's 'The Championship' (Saints are feature game) and BBC. We have over 500 people now confirmed via facebook and this site although we expect more toward 1000 (hopefully more!! spread the word!!) as I know of at least 200 myself that are coming along that havent voted on facebook or here. The Police have been contacted and are in constant talks with Connor to ensure this is safe and peaceful. They will have two police officers on motorbikes and another 6+ on foot accompanying us throughout. The meeting place and march route is already covered in this thread. We would like people to wear visible red and white colours if poss (shirt outside jumper kind of thing) in order to add to the visual effect. We would like people to bring as big a banner as possible and their best voices as we hope to make an impact. And finally we want to re-iterrate that WE DO NOT WANT ANY SORT OF VIOLENT ACTS DURING THIS, IT IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST AND ANYONE WANTING TO COME TO CAUSE TROUBLE SHOULD JUST NOT BOTHER. WE WILL HELP THE POLICE IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE THIS IS PEACEFUL!! *** Also we want everyone to support the team for ninety minutes during the game, the time for the protest is before (and after) not during! *** If you're as fed up and frustrated as I am about the situation our club is in then this is your chance to voice your opinion to a national media in a peaceful way, please dont turn down this oportunity. Many thanks and I hope to see you there
  21. Still only the 2nd best away game I've been to. For sheer 'bundles' it has to be the Derby play off 2nd leg.
  22. Awww. That must have been the highlight the day having a pop at me. It does mean a lot coming from someone who is a 'champion' on several of the arcade games. It is also nice to see you doing something constructive with your time: the protest may be in your eyes a waste of time, but at least it is pro-active. Much love, xxx
  23. Well bugger me. I turned off at HT and fully expected it to say Norwich 4-0 Saints.
