  1. Think he's the best option touted to date. Seems a shame though that we have to wait until he's come to realise the more illustrious moves are off the table . Just hope we don't leave this for him to go elsewhere or stay at Stuttgart at the 11th hour.
  2. I stand corrected. But going MLG mode for a moment - being a journalist and a "fuck wit" are not mutually exclusive. Won't bother with the diagram.
  3. Not sure why anyone would take this account seriously, called "LOL". "Deal in negotiation until January 2026" ?? - Does this mean we'll be negotiating until then with a view to him joining in about 3and half years time ? If not, pretty silly to see the contract end mid-season. Should re-title the account "fuck-wits on the web".
  4. Definitely. Should go back to a fans vote as we had under Rupert. We've got some mindless saps in our fan base would would want continual stripes, and yellow and blue away season after season, but it would at least spare us the shit they've served up this year.
  5. If they do decide to change it I just hope the prick who was responsible for agreeing this years kits isn't involved in the process.
  6. Don't disagree with your valuation on what KWP might be worth to us but I suspect the valuation by the two clubs are probably a bit closer, £30-35m. Pedersen was suggested at c £8m.
  7. God knows what they were thinking this year. Completely obscure random selections.
  8. Is it designed for pre-season training on Salisbury plain ?
  9. That'll be the ruin of it then. Agree with your points on this.
  10. ... or on his way to Burnley Good enough for them to turn down our offer (however it was structured)
  11. Yes he does, accept that but I was responding to a comment about his height and heading.
  12. He’d be my choice but one thing I’ve questioned is whether we would put the crosses in for him. Big deal Ron said in an interview his success at Saints was the quality of cross from Paine & Sydenham that he wouldn’t have got anywhere else. If you look at some of his goals Stuttgart have a left back who floats crosses to him. Compare that with some of our ‘crosses’, Redmond and Ely driving the ball across the area at about 125mph in the hope some fucker touches it.
  13. Press links suggest £55m … which rules us out
  14. I suspect this might now be less likely than I thought it might be a week ago. Seemed from press reports that he might have been holding out for Man Utd. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Dortmund are now back in the chase after news of Haller being ruled out due to unfortunate news of his health. Or at the very least Kaladjzic might want to wait on that option
  15. Never heard of him, but found this:
  16. Think Sasa Kalajdzic is the Crouch-a-like striker
  17. Agree, I think he broke the same leg twice in a year, and never recovered with us. Credit to him, and even Pulis, for the fact he was able to revive his career on leaving us.
  18. Only if we can find a modern day Terry Paine and John Sydenham though.
  19. Sell after three years then.
  20. Poor little sod did well to make it to adult life with his limbs intact and without serious brain damage if his old man was using him for throw in practice as that photo suggests.
  21. Any signing is a risk, sign Kane or Lewandowski and possibly might not adapt to the club, 'wife can't settle' and it won't work out, but I'm inclined to agree especially if the other striker is 19 year old Mara. If we've got £20m or thereabouts for a striker then rather we look to bring a more experienced player. Not going to happen with signing Mara as well.
  22. Hadn't heard of him to be honest, but my comment wasn't directed solely at you or this bloke, quite a few names have appeared over this and the 5 you'd sign thread that have left me, and probably many others scratching their heads, or doing some google research. Wonder if some names are lifted straight off of FM type computer games. Not intended as a 'wind up' but not due to no knowledge outside English football, although main interest abroad tends to be Italian, German and occasionally Spanish leagues, and sometimes players/clubs we're linked with in or from Netherlands or Denmark etc. I tend to pass by the French League other than occasional glance to see how Fonte or Schneiderlin are doing, or any player who we might have been linked with (Predrag Rajković then Reims GK, or Perraud before he joined us). I don't follow or remember every reported Arsenal target either. As for , Aouar have now read a bit about him, according to Wikipedioa he has one cap, from a friendly in 2020 v Ukraine. Clearly missed that one, or it just escaped my memory.
  23. You need to add a # if you want that to be taken seriously... And can I be first to question if he's just Mayuka MK II ?
  24. Think he'd have been a League Cup player, and occasional being shoehorned into the team - possibly out of position - for a run out. Not sure even what his position is meant to be, or if he knows it yet. From the youtube clips and his Eire appearance he seems to have a bit more to offer this season than his performance last season (was it Watford ?) suggests. Totally agree that Stoke is a better option.
  25. I'm sure you've done your research and he may or may not be a decent prospect, but I sometimes wonder if posters compete on here to find the most obscure name and player no one else has heard of.
