best not to continue that theme. On balance, Clasie was a bigger disappointment to us than Promes.
-
He's scored three ?
-
Suspect he'll sign an extension with PSV with the agreement to leave at the end of the season. Have read that the PSV manager is Ruud Van Nistlrooy, who mis no doubt telling him stay and Man Utd will come calling again in the summer.
-
Make the most of it then, once he signs for us he won't score again until March
-
Until he's told Leeds will up his wages, or the legacy and history of dugouts if Everton are interested...
-
Was a proper one, or piddly chip down the middle or a scuffed one ? If it wasn't a proper one then call it off.
-
Wonder if we have a Plan B , if PSV decide against selling, or if he's injured in tonight's fixture.
-
Fee agreed, but they haven't decided to sell...???
-
Just a thought, but will Gakpo affect the 'pathway' for Mara ?
-
If only MLG were here to explain about bookies odds, and their relevance...

I was joking with my comment, and your reply is a fair point of course. I don't think it fully registered here that Mane had as I recall a bit of a sulk at RB Salzburg before joining us, and had the Liverpool offer been in December for a January move I suspect we'd have seen similar. For much the same reason I'm not completely sold on the AMN links given he turned us down for WBA as he only wanted to play in his position, despite where he has had most success it seems. Could be a few sulks ahead. Mara seems to have left his club in a fairly dignified way.
-
Disappointed in him, or his agent, or possibly how we've briefed them. This is the point at which he has to say his head is already in Southampton and wishes to sit this one out.
-
Ross Wilson and Nicola Sturgeon now pursuing new career paths.
-
He was sulking and trying to force a move to Saints
-
Did we get a fee for him ? Either way hope this forum isn’t subsidising his wages
-
Can't see Broja happening. If that was realistically still on the cards I think Ralph and Semmens might have been a little more cautious in how they spoke about him at the Forum. That gave the impression that 'he tailed off for whatever reason... and he's not coming (we don't want him) back'.
-
Four in the next few days, providing they are the right ones to improve rather than bloat the squad, would be very impressive. Agree with your last point also, but feel its a shame we missed out on Kaladjnic, who for far les than £40m, might have met the striker requirement.
-
Might appease the supporters to have another 'local' in their team though as he'll fully understand what being an "Evertonian" means type of bollocks.
-
Strange, but Caleta-Car's been linked around numerous clubs for two or three seasons without anyone taking the plunge. Have to wonder why. Same for the Hungarian CB Szalai. at the start of the window I'd have been pleased in signing either but it seems we might have hit on a decent CB pairing although we still need other options.
-
We might be down to Trevor Senior soon, he's been on there since about 1983 and no one has crossed him off yet.
-
An emotional return to Everton is my guess. No doubt they'll light ba few blue flares to welcome him.
-
Nailed on to score on Saturday then. Nice one Semmens & Co, can’t wait to find out who we’ve got lined up.
-
He was also in regular contact with his PA to check his diary for any interviews to tell the media he was “relaxed” about it. And probably polishing his head for the cameras. Whilst all this meaningless non/transfer activity takes place Toby Steele is working on the next phase of the more critical strategy, persecuting and driving out home fans.
-
Given the cost of Gakpo, others chasing him, and the late stage of the window it would perhaps be more sensible for us to cut out a few links in the chain and go for Karlsson ourselves.
-
Someone mentioned this Croatian striker the other week , Dion Drena Beljo, but I suspect work permit could be an issue.
