sort and vinegar then ?

Why would anyone better be interested in our job at this stage of the season, where we are ?
-
How many times have we said this about the next game though ? Hope he turns it round and we go on an unbeaten run to the end of the season. But not expecting anything like it.
-
Yes, feel sorry for the situation he’s in, but can’t see him turning it round. Possibly not, but the fans haven’t brought about the current crisis which has come to a head with his outburst on Saturday. Seems NJ is able to hit a self-destruct button on his own.
-
The fact that either he has declined to take part, or they’ve excluded him from the Fans Forum I think is pretty telling, and will have caused some ripples internally. This was before the weekend’s interviews which has put the whole club under a media microscope.
-
Worry is that it was Rasmus (and possibly Semmens) who got us in this mess. If you were Dragan, or Kat, would you want to leave it to these cowboys and their spreadsheets to get it right this time ?
-
People would be more accepting of his fist pumping and antics if we were winning. Have to add that although NJ wasn’t the appointment I was expecting when Ralph was sacked, and what has followed has been as bad, if not worse than feared, the personal abuse aimed at him, and whether he is likeable or not is poor from our fans. I think this weekend’s outbursts have made it near impossible for Jones position, without some public climbing down, which probably won’t happen. That said, I feel sorry the bloke being in a position where he is out of his depth and struggling. I’m sure many of us have taken the wrong job, or realised how bad it is when too late.

The Gray departure and appointment of Strachan was a Sunday evening. So don’t rule it out today. Although perhaps Rupert wasn’t as precious as Semmens about business intruding in his ‘domestic’ time.
-
I suspect the Doswell interview put a strain on his relationship with the club.
-
Selles was as I understood another handpicked by SR (Ankersen). Whichever way you look at it all roads lead back to SR and the board for the current fuck up.
-
I thought it was Vierra they were referring to.
-
Depends who he is pointing the finger at. If those above are dictating team formation then they won’t be happy with his interview. If it’s the players then the board may look to support their manager.

Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!
Badger replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
You'd like to think so but given the contempt they sometimes show to our own supporters I doubt they'd give a second glance to some goading of our own fans. If anything, Steele and his ex-Millwall Security Rottweiller might use it as an excuse to close a few more rows of seats in the home area. -
A manager since October. Staggering that we would consider someone with less of a track record than Jones.
-
I think that comment killed my interest in this signing.
-
Are we only able to work on one transfer at a time. Suspect that might be the case, and Hjulmand won't happen.
-
So did Frank Worthington. Although miraculously his scoring dried up after joining us for most of the season
-
Agree with you. Signing is yet another gamble on a young largely unproven player. Ayew - wasn't held in high regard at Swansea a few years ago (although might have been his brother, can't recall).
-
He is meant to rewrite the definition of 'Jonno-Quick". Not sure about goalscoring though.
-
Expect us to be that imaginative?
-
Reminds me of one of my rugby coaches at school in the 70’s. (Mind you old ‘Taffy’ (or Mr) Williams (RIP)wouldn’t have been seen dead in that tracksuit get up
-
Look, with all due respect, the opposition will be thinking that as well.

Then the ‘God willing’ rematch with Stoke in the next round
