  1. You posted that yesterday morning and on reading it I thought if I knew that to be the starting line up, I don't think I can be bothered going, but doubt it will be. Congrats on your exclusive, and the team lived up to expectation.
  2. He’s welcome to publicly shit himself in the centre circle of the pitch if we win or get a point tonight, and he won’t face criticism from me.
  3. Perhaps a sweepstake for when he hits the headlines again for receiving abuse at a match. If anyone does organise one though, best to do it before the fixtures are announced, otherwise everyone will want Millwall away.
  4. Quick Google on him and articles linking him with Bayern and Dortmund so prospects of us signing him are slim to non-existent in my view. (As you'd expect Newcastle and West Ham also mentioned).

  6. Fine if the back is the same.
  7. Branfoot obviously believed he'd hit a rich seam of talent in Scotland, who can forget his epic dips into the transfer market there and successes ? Okay, so Derek Allen didn't work out, but don't forget Colin Cramb and Paul Sheerin. Best of all I remember Ian Branfoot defending the transfer policy at a Radio Solent Fan Forum by pointing out he'd just signed a young Scots lad from Reading, (Paul, or Gary Ferguson from recollection) for £20,000, and he was a prospect who we'd hear a lot about in the future. Think he disappeared without trace. Ken Monkou aside IB's transfer record was pretty appalling.
  8. Yes, remember the name, think he went to lower leagues.

Looking at the photo alone I though SR might be trying to but in to The Hairy Bikers. One Google Translate later though it appears we've pulled out of our interest in this Turkish club.
  10. The cost of this case, if awarded against her, is likely to cost her a few designer handbags and shoes though. That's perhaps the best part of this, that one of those tarts and their hubbies will end up a few million down.
  11. Vaguely remembered the name, opened the Wiki link : Probably wasn't worth reading beyond that.
  12. He's a spiteful little bastard, as well as being a diving cunt. Think the London media luvvies cover all that up because of his sickening smiling face that they plaster all over the place.
  13. Enjoyed the singing, but other than that would probably need a translator, or sub-titles. What's Spanish for Carphone Warehouse as I missed it.
  14. With the name Khashoggi on the back ?
  15. Fair point. Had a text from a Reading supporter today and a few weeks ago as well for that matter saying what a basket case they’ve become. Despite the ‘joy’ of staying up this season he fully expects more of the same crap next season and another battle to stay in their division. Familiar?
  16. Not if Bednarek is still with us it won’t be.
  17. Poor in allowing that after such a shit show on Saturday.
  18. My estimate of our true position should be somewhere in between, but we never get that over a sustained period, it's feast or famine, shit or bust ..
  19. That would be AS Monaco, who are owned by a Russian Oligarch, or Trust he is involved in. At the time of Kovac's spell there he may also have worked with Paul Mitchell dealing with recruitment. I'm not saying Kovac might not be a good candidate as a manager, but there do seem to be reasons why he might not be able to recreate even a fraction of that succesfull spell with us.
  20. This is the biggest mystery, and it seems inevitability following a bad result. Many teams will have a bad result, a shock result even, but they bounce back, and you read how their next opponents face the backlash (especially when it's us, no coincidence there perhaps). wWth our lot though they become nervous wrecks, and follow a bad result with a run of another 10 or so.
  21. Think they've been copyting some of our threads:
  22. Interesting names, but couple of random thoughts: Nuno - think his success at Wolves was partly the agent connection which worked well for him Favre - 65 later this year Fonseca - has been linked with just about every EPL vacancy, but constantly overlooked. Wonder why. But it might mean he'd loook to grasp the opportunity with us if offered it. AVB - isn't there a lot of 'baggage' from his previous jobs in England. Svennson, one good season (same can be said for Cooper who some have mentioned, and at a lower level). As you say, probably none of those.
  23. My comment, made a couple of days ago, was based on some poor and indifferent performances, and Ralph's public criticism of him last week. Obviously written before today - which I didn't see - but from your post ot looks as if he upped the effort a bit so perhaps he and Ralph had a 'heart to heart' to clear it up.
  24. Any names ? One name on another thread, Bo Svennson , at Mainz. Danish incidentally. Questionable though if we are a good career move. Without some £ to spend we're not such an attractive proposition.
  25. Problem is, and not of Ralph's making, is that he can only replace them with equally poor CB's, or another mistake prone GK.
