  1. Thinking about this, and Fourpast really must rank just behind Ali Dia as one of our most comical signings of all time. Pulis Jnr worth a mention. None as expensive a flop as Carillo though to be fair to them all.
  2. Doubt Farke to Dean Smith is the kind of leap Norwich expected to make. If it is a "leap" at all.
  3. Agent to SFC: "could I interest you in my client, a goalkjeeper name of ..." SFC: "nah, fuck off, he's shit". There, his agent has spoken to us. Doesn't indicate a modicum of interest though.

Haven't we been linked with this crowd before though ?

Read this. Okay, who thinks Orville would be a better Director of Football than Les Reed ?
  6. Lovren's hairdresser/barber was a source at one point I recall.
  7. Or the taxi driver... Mind you the construction trade have long since been a good source of Saints related info. Didn't Beattie have a plumber or electrician who was able to announce his best laid plans to move (the summer before he did)?
  8. ... unless Ralph is has a Delia fetish..

Aren’t the Dildo Brothers at West Ham looking for a way out ?
  11. Have to wonder if the close working relationship with Crocker, and Semmens will be be a factor here, and the trust they've shown in him despite a run of poor results (far beyond five games Smith has lost). From what I read (may or may not have been true of course) the Koeman- Reed relationship wasn't on sound footing. Strange though how after three wins in the last four games Ralph's stock is high again and he's linked to another job, didn't seem to be linked anywhere towards the end of last season.
  12. Not a hat trick (as far as I remember) but it was certainly a game where in his early career he was noticed by the national press and was instrumental in the win.
  13. Yes, remember that in 1986.
  14. Lifted this off of Twitter:
  15. Would rather keep Leeds further behind us.
  16. I’d settle for them making it 16.
  17. Would Lampard consider Norwich in their current position though ? Can’t see it personally
  18. Apart from the money spent non Ings and his three (or four ?)year that was a wise investment of course.
  19. Don’t know the number, but none as sweet as when Hoddle got the push. Think it was after we beat spurs at WHL but even if it wasn’t we took some satisfaction in our part in it.
  20. What would Eddie wear ? Is this the new selection criterion ?
  21. Wasn't suggesting it was, but given that we play Norwich next both teams dropping points and Norwich not getting a confidence boosting win seems the best option at the moment. Over the course of a season inclined to agree with you.
  22. Norwich now obliging 0-1. Wouldn't a draw be better for us ?
  23. Either that or he only watched our second half performance and holds onto that as a glimmer of hope for his dream job a bus ride from home.
  24. Was he glaring at a team mate and blaming him ?
  25. Or just to keep them there. I suspect his remit is to keep them up, and then Newcastle will look to bring in the big name at the end of the season.
