  1. Yes he is, and not so far up the crocked list like Ings etc.
  2. The Dutch bloke looks quite useful, albeit at a lower standard. But it does seem that RM has so far seemed keen to keep the nucleus of the team British.
  3. As said on another thread I'm surprised this hasn't resurfaced given the Mowbray connection.
  4. Agree, would have been my preference but possibly five times the cost.
  5. Yes,I think that was based on the cartoon image. (Christ, think I’ve got one of those badges somewhere, cost about 50p in the 1970’s - now someone wants £28 for one!!)
  6. I’ve now found the full article. https://rowzfootball.wordpress.com/2014/09/10/saints-and-pompey-mapping-the-rivalry/ I think the white areas are where no research has been done, or answers submitted. Clearly isn’t a large sample and as the writer says was done for fun. Also, ten years old.
  7. Oh ffs !! What a load of techobollocks. I’m sure there’s a generation of fucking IT super- nerds (with throbbing veins protruding on their forehead) who spend their days thinking of ways to make it more convoluted for the over 50’s and 60’s. How many bastard passwords (with special characters) will we need to log in ? Have to get there early next season folks, otherwise there will be a scrum of old farts like me stuck outside the turnstile.
  8. Yes you could. But I’d be inclined to factor their injury record into the decision making. ‘No’ from me largely for that reason as well.
  9. Found this whilst searching internet for something else. For those living locally, how accurate do you think this is ? Indicates a fairly even split in Winchester although I always regarded that as firmly Saints territory. Romsey, Stockbridge also ‘ours’.
  10. * only if and when fit perhaps
  11. Shame they can’t recreate the old monk/Saint cartoon character (with his walking staff) from the Echo many years ago, always thought that a great image the club could have adopted. Have searched internet but unable to find an image, or name of cartoonist.
  12. Thanks, that’s a useful explanation that even an old IT retard like me could follow.
  13. Tell that to kids today, and they won’t believe you. Think it was 6d for a programme when I started going. No idea how much a half time Bovril was.
  14. Same was said about us for times last season. Came good in the end though, -especially the approach in the play offs- hope it does for England over the next two games
  15. Hasn’t he been linked before, possibly last summer or 2022?
  16. ‘Fuck Off Rasmus’ not an option then ?
  17. Surely something more imaginative than ‘Red Army’. Even Krueger gave us ‘We March On’. I liked the line ‘Founded in faith’ or similar which the club presented at one point, marking our origins. Would prefer just ‘Saints’ Est 1885 rather than ‘red army’ .
  18. Surprised this link hasn’t resurfaced, and would prefer him to most of the other names linked. Brereton- Diaz another, at least with some recent scoring history. Both with their prime years ahead of them you would hope.

Aren’t the items in bold paid as expenses or allowance in addition to salary ? If so, they shouldn’t reflect in net salary.
  20. Will it be purely a Saints signing, or an SR signing ?
  21. Probably not a fixture the German Police wanted either. Are you taking the DEF over there ?
  22. They completely rewrote history in their post match summaries. Didn’t think they were talking about the same England team that I’d seen
  23. Credit where it’s due though - penalties were spot on. from that you’d have to give Southgate some credit if the players have focused on this, whereas it’s been a bit of an afterthought in the past.
