  1. This is the common thing now as seen elsewhere recently. Frankly, I feel sorry for the bloke being put in this position at an early stage of his career. Vanity project no doubt, but whose ? I still expect this all leads back to Rasmus, despite some protests to the contrary.

He’ll probably be available again in the summer. Not that he’ll be interested in us under the current regime
  3. It seems to be a missive from those at a higher level and club policy. I don’t think blame lies with the ‘head coach’. But agree, fuck off to 5 at the back, Ankersen and his cronies.
  4. Desperately trying not to sign for them isn’t he ?

Seemed a hipster cunt at Hull, and living up to that now. Glad we’ve given this one a wide berth , an ego to match Russell. Expect him to be out of Stamford Bridge by October.
  6. Or it was one game, we’d seen enough and didn’t pursue it. This seems a non-story to me. Plenty of players have passed through our trials and either chosen elsewhere (Gascoigne for example) or been overlooked (Kevin Phillips for example). Others have slipped the net elsewhere and ended up at Saints. Big deal. What was Fabrice’s point ?
  7. Just a shame that their selections for replacement are frequently sub-standard then
  8. Welcome back.
  9. Agree about Armstrong. Strangely I think the feeling at the Branfoot era was a lot stronger than now, even though Rasmus and SR are worse owners. At least there was a response from the supporters then, I'm not sure we'll see much these days (people vent their anger on the internet rather than at The Dell as we used to)
  10. Stands out a mile, He's the only one who'll regularly score for us this season, to sell him would be ludicrous short term. Just imagine having to rely on Archer, and Stewart to stay fit. His goals though can be game changers by the way, just a shame he misses a few as well.
  11. You sure ? Although this may horrify some, but a Nathan Jones now, in the Championship, might not have been a bad shout.
  12. “Just what we need “ - Rasmus W.A He’s a typical SR signing, scored a good goal once, featured on YouTube so we’ve followed his career closely ever since. And as he hasn’t repeated that achievement since, we convince ourselves the ‘form’ will return once he pulls on a Saints shirt. We need a few more duds to select from.
  13. Aren’t most of those out of contract at the end of the season ? Or is that just wishful thinking ?
  14. Yes. Injury time equaliser as I recall.
  15. I think the bizarre timing of it, just after a relegation, was the other issue at a time when we couldn’t afford it (and had made a series of redundancies that summer).
  16. I also had a look n their site, and saw one Stoke fan had consulted a skate mate who said that Bazunu had been ‘world class’ for them. Yes, ‘world class’ in L1. Another great Portsmyth to add to their great history.
  17. They can’t wait to find an excuse for that can they. Bloody ridiculous. This might be the fixture they make s sacrifice of, in the interest of maintaining’the global appeal ..’ type of bollocks. Especially if they fear La Liga are gaining an advantage by playing fixtures out of Spain.

Good. At least it takes him out of reach of Rasmus.

Some good points. You can’t fault Dragan’s willingness to invest, but how it’s been done is dire. If only he rid himself of the Rasmus input things could possibly be different, although it seems we’re past that point now. For me Ankersen, and to a lesser extent Spors should be the targets. (Spors we don’t know how far if at all he’s working to the Rasmus blueprint). Last time we were lucky with Liebherr taking us over, could have been SISU or Fialka !!

Definitely seemed a turning point. Didnt it coincide with an interview with Ralph talking about his retirement in 18months also ? Perhaps pure coincidence, but certainly by the end of the season Ralph appeared to have had enough.
  21. Another from Man City’s academy. Young, guaranteed to improve and sell in at great profit. Do we ever learn ?
  22. Agree. With a leader at CB I think he might have developed into the player we hoped him to be. But put in amongst our spineless team the poor fucker was only going to go one way. Downhill like the rest.
  23. Shame. Thought he had potential and would have done well with better management this season. We might see his career develop elsewhere and regret this.

I’d be inclined to view the playing conditions before pitching him in on Saturday. It would make sense to play him in many ways, but I wouldn’t risk him getting an injury on a frozen pitch. Although that would fit in with our luck and decision making. Injured GK for rest of season to join Stewart seems all too predictable.
  25. Good idea, but who is going to sanction it ? The only person who might put this in place is Dragan, and as Dark Munster points out his chief adviser is the one who probably obstruct it. Why does Dragan or anyone else need input from a dinosaur like Warnock when they already have the genius of Rasmus on hand to tap into ?
