I think his name has been linked on here before. Trendy Portuguese coach, has a beard so might tick some SR boxes. But you know how we operate, we keep a constant log on coaches and managers to know who is up and coming and might fit our model. Spors ,and Les before him years ago, would scour the continent to keep this current so we can identify who we want at the drop of a hat. Despite which the option we might end up with Gary O' Fucking-Neil.

Or just skate prick. Have to see what Lord D comes up with, 'Legohead' caught on but 'Weasley' didn't have time to get going.
-
Might be worth pointing out though that Case was a bit younger on signing (still only 30). But he was still playing for us at 36. Hopefully he makes a similar impact for us that Case did.
-
When is that image from ? Despite the comments from the club and assurances given (especially those in here in the summer by a few posters) it does seem Rasmus is still in a controlling role. Fans focus ought to be on that prick.

Don't agree it was a quick removal, it was a month to six weeks in the making . Clearly out of his depth and overdue in my book.
-
Bit disrespectful to Sheff Weds, who despite their off the field problems have players who dig in, and I've read are now fairly organised, if limited, but play with a bit of heart and spirit (three things we've lacked for about 18 months)
-
Probably a bit more mobile than some of them though
-
They could play a fucking wardrobe up front and it’d likely score against our defence and Bazunu.
-
Yet Scienza, and Jander to a lesser extent, have been among our more reliable performers
-
Fair point. Shame about the choices though,
-
Haven’t seen that, where did he say it ,or where reported?
-
True on both counts, but to do this we need to identify who will live up to that expectation not just select from who might be available. Goes against the clubs usual practice but it could mean paying compensation. If it means getting the right person then pay it ffs. I’d rather we bring in an experienced manager for the rest of the season if it means getting the right one at the end of it. We have to avoid hiring say Gerrard then regretting it and being stuck with him.

I suspect Terzic will be filed with Tuchel (2016 or 17) as a manager well beyond our reach that was mentioned on here once upon a time, but with little or no likelihood of it happening.
-
The ex-City Pelligrino was strongly linked once, can’t remember at what stage, but overlooked for Puel or the other Pelligrino.
-
Not sure if your post was serious or not, but feel free to message and remind me of it when we sell Sanda for £50m.
-
Beyond belief that a)they made the wrong, and such a poor appointment originally and b) allowed it to drag on so long. The thread title should be New Manager Debacle.
-
Suspect he has Champions League ambitions. A name not seen for a while is Zsolt Low, assistant to Tuchel in a few places, and interim manager at RB Leipzig last season. His name cropped up last season (Oct/November) before Lego was eventually sacked. No idea where he is now.
-
Stefan Kuntz as his assistant.
-
Hadn’t heard that, but don’t really follow what’s happening down there, too much of our own misery to focus on.
-
Looks like Carrick is the last man standing then
-
Wasn’t he shit at Genoa ? Bottom of the league, so sacked. Perhaps Mr Spors doesn’t seem to have got the knack or had much luck making managerial selections, but a bit concerning.
-
Would the feeling be the same if for example we lured Mousinho here ? I’m not advocating that we do, and wouldn’t be keen on it, but can’t help feel the reaction to O’Neil is also due to him being considered crap.
-
Gives me some comfort thinking that if they do bring Martin back Romeu might deck the prick and tell him where to shove his Legoball
-
Why ? They didn't paly here at the same time so not previous team mates. Think we can rule out the possibility that Romeu phoned him for advice on Alice bands .
-
Would be a fucking stupid decision, but this is the club that thought employing Nathan Jones, and Will Still was a good idea.
