Not always been a fan of him but it seemed to me his presence in South Africa was potentially beneficial,as the squad were likely to respect him - as far as any of the overpaid prima doona tossers can 'respect' any other living person - and when he was seen on camera he seemed to display some semblance of caring and calling out of instruction.That was a damned sight more than Mr Cornetto or the morose and inarticulate Pearce could muster.
