You can say that about every single Government that ever existed, I bet people who voted Labour didn’t vote for an invasion of Iraq or independence for the BoE. If they don’t like it they’ll get the opportunity to vote for another representative next time. That’s the way it’s always worked, it’s not suddenly changed because you don’t like the outcome.

This is just blatantly untrue. You can argue about the benefits of membership far outweigh the benefits of having more decisions based in Westminster, but nobody can argue that nothing has changed. When Leave voters are called stupid, I always argue that there’s just as many remain voters which this label applies to. Thanks for confirming.

We’ve had a GE since then. The people voted for The Tory version of the future as opposed to Steptoes. All Brexit did was allow the British Parliament to make its own decisions, what the British Parliament does with that power will determine what sort of future we have.

It’s called democracy. If enough of the representatives want this vision of The UK, it’ll happen. If they don’t, it won’t. The UK Parliament is perfectly capable of legislating the exact same protections EU citizens have if enough representatives want that.

Had the Lib Dem, sorry Tory, Parliamentary party given the members Kemi, she’d have wiped the floor with Truss despite the colour of her skin. I suspect that even The Saj would have beaten her. The fact Truss is white is irrelevant, its Sunak’s political and personal shortcomings that’ll do for him (unless Truss implodes).

The Labour Party has only ever had white males as PM, white males as leaders and white males as chancellor’s. In fact their last 3 leaders aren’t just white male, they’re totally London metropolitan elite. The Tories have had 2 women leaders, 2 women PM”s and 3 BAME chancellor’s, and are just about to elect another non white male as leader. It’s a record that puts the “progressive” party to shame.

The worst thing that happened to the Tories was winning the ‘92 election after electing a dud. Had the Welsh windbag won it, The Tories would have had Ken Clarke or Portillio facing him at the next election. Same here, maybe with a tiny majority for Starmer , the Tories can come back with Kemi or The Skate and sweep back into power. One thing for sure, whoever wins next election has a hospital pass. Only issue could be voter reform, but that’s pretty difficult in 5 years with a single digit majority.

Where’s the bit about soggy seeing many people collapsed on the pavement being treated by paramedics? That’s the pony. Perhaps that’s why there was so many excess deaths. Paramedics were too busy helping shoppers that had a bit of heat stroke to attend the elderly and infirm.

I’m calling pony. I was in Chicago during the winter of ‘85 and I saw people frozen in the streets, paramedics were using blow torches to thaw them out and community leaders were sticking hot dogs up their arse’s. Horrific

What a load of old pony. We go on holiday to get into the sun, but now need telling how to cope with it. I spent years working on building sites in Florida, god knows how I survived without the British nanny state telling me how to look after myself. Tugrnhat and Kemi came over well. Sunak slick, but pretty much as expected. Penny & Truss were poor imo, particularly Truss. Horrendous format, host butting in way too much, and if they’re floating voters my cocks a carrot. Tugenhat will have gone down well with the public, but at the moment they’re not the electorate. IF Kemi can stay above Tugenhat next vote and Truss continues to underperform, I can see her sneaking into second place.

GP service is appalling a round here. You’ve got to get past the Gestapo before they arrange for the doctor to call you back. Then if you’re lucky, you may get to see the doctor in about a week. Horrendous service, yet people put up with it and happily stood there clapping like demented half wits. People wouldn’t put up with it from anything else they’re paying for, yet can’t make the correlation between paying via taxes and shelling out of their wallets. GP’s are taking the piss, they need sorting out. Hospitals are as bad. The snap dragon regularly comes home from work in tears , not because of the nasty Tory cuts (and she’s a fucking leftie),but because of lazy fellow workers and senior managers that take the piss.

It’s not just football, rugby & cricket are also bigged up more than they deserve. Chick Tennis, athletics, swimming, beach volleyball, netball, hockey are proper sports that are competitive and played/competed to a high level (miles off the mens standard, but still decent). Football is not. The Dog & Duck could beat any chick team week in week out. Serena Williams or Chris Evett would beat an average club player easily. That’s the difference, there’s hundreds of thousands of blokes that are better than the best birds.
