I think, that if they are more than 9 points adrift WITHOUT a -9 points penalty at the end of the season then it will probably be applied next season.... they WILL be made an example of. I think thats extremely harsh... the lunatic Fringe (gotta love that description Lowe) at Pompey are extremely vocal and like it or not are seen as great supporters. If we had a bellend like W******d, who lets face it, makes a fcking good poster boy (think of pompey fans you think of him straight away... can you think of any other clubs where you can identify one of their fans ..) be more known than we are. We have pretty much identical hardcore fan bases (around 12k each).. the biggest probelm for Pompey regarding catchment areas etc is that they are closer to London so naturally a lot of swing voters as they are, would follow London clubs... Not that It makes one jot of difference to the respective hardcore fan bases of each club.

let me guess... get teh tax date ajourned until further notice, get the club to limp on whilst putting minimal if any funds in, take the nice £25m parachute payment and dissapear into the ether...
