He still needs to improve on his defending but he has the potential to be one of the best players in the world in his position. No exagerration IMO.

Exactly. This is the third tier. No team goes through a season without losing to a ****e team now and again. We are also likely to be stronger at RB next season than we have been this season.

Most of them are utterly clueless. We all know Alan Wiley got his two big decisions wrong today but even putting those aside, there were numerous occasions where he stopped play and hindered the team who had been fouled (Spurs, usually!). Just rank bad refereeing. Mind you, some of the ones you see in Europr aren't much better. The problem is that football refs usually seem to be gimpy malcordinated geekazoids who obviously have never played any physical sport to even a competent school-boy level.

Lol. They're not going to beat Chelsea and old Saggy Face is going to miss out on Europe as Spurs' season has just ended. Every cloud

Thought I'd lob it in there! I'm pretty sure 90 points would always be enough for second place. Looking at the table now, Leeds would finish on 92 if they won their last five matches and Milwall would finish on 93 if they did. Also, if we win 4 or 5 of our last 6 our average will creep up a bit more. Basically, for three quarters of this season we have shown virtual top 2 form. The quarter where we didn't was the first; it wasn't some blip in the middle. That suggests to me that we are consistent enough and good enough to finish top 2 next year. On top of that, I think the league will generally be weaker and over the season we will probably be stronger.

Fair enough. Although it was only 7.00pm so you must be a big girly lightweight too.

Since, and including, Bristol Rovers at home (probably the first match we really "gelled" this season and the team was taking shape even though we lost) we have had 31 league matches. We have won 18 of the 31. We have drawn 7. We have lost 6. So that's 61 points from the last 31 games. That's borderline top form and is certainly second place form. This is why people should have every confidence, ceteris paribus, that we will get automatic promotion next year.

Which bloody pub?!?!?!

I live in Bristol you stupid **** and I pay for a service. If that service is sub-standard I have a right to redress.

He had an ok game, certainly not dreadful by any stretch, but I agree with the general consensus that he is not physical enough. We should look to do better. At the moment it's a "go" IMO.

It's a shame Thailand continues to be marred by these divisions as it really is a lovely place.

There were lots of jaffa cakes and he has telescopes in his garden. He had a maid. Pretty cool!

Why do you have a photo of Clifton if you live in Fishponds.... Charlatan That's like having a photo of Chilworth when you live in Thornhill.

It's quite far - taxi will probably be best part of a tenner each way I guess depending on traffic. To repeat something I posted before.... Can anyone confirm which pub most Saints fans are likely to be in? Thanks

What pub do away fans go to for this fixture?

Oh yeah, and I've had tea at Patrick Moore's house and he played the xylophone. I've also met Seb Coe.

I met Jo Tessem in Hotshots (friendly but quiet) I met MLT in Hotshots (friendly and chatty - legend!) I met Garry Monk in Jumpin' Jax (battered) I met Shane Warne outside Hampshire's hotel in London after the FP Final. He was not interested in chatting (they had been given a hammering by Durham that day). I followed him to a cashpoint and eventually managed to get a photo with him. Seen Franny ooot and aboot a lot.

Just had a look at the ol' Premier League table and couldn't help noticing that the cheating Blue Few appear to be 17 points from safety. Now, conducting some rudimentary arithmetic leaves me with the inescapable conclusion that if they had not had a points penalty they would be 8 points from safety with 5 games left. They really ought to shut up with the whining.

The issue of what is acceptable in comedy and the lady's offence, in this case, are separate IMO. The lady, I'm sure, was genuinely offended. She is a massive hypocrite, however. In her defence I think this has been blown up by the media - she was on 5Live on Friday. Apparently she originally just put something on Twitter to tell her mates about the show and then the media got in touch and it all snowballed....

Hi all, which pub will everyone be in before the match? One on Gloucester Road I guess? Cheers, benjii

Yeah, that's odd too. Maybe he wants to get his hands dirty (metaphorically!) with a club as opposed to staying with the regulators. If he can do a good job there it would look good in his CV as he's going to have one hell of a challenge!

EDIT: I can't say anything sensible because this sort of person makes me so angry (not you, Dr Pepper matey et al).

Why the hell does the state feel it has a responsibility to house someone with 17 convictions anyway? It is mental.
