  1. Good point. I expect there is a direct correlation between the thrust of debate on here and the way stewards handle incidents etc at St Mary's.
  2. Fabien Delph - £8m wasn't it last summer?
  3. Did they say, "Alan, please shake it up a bit"? Or did they say - "Oi, Paaahhdew ya waaanger, sort it ahhhht ya ****"? Now, I'm not against swearing at the footy but surely there's a bit more to this?
  4. There are two issues here IMO: Parliamentary/electoral anomolies - which should be sorted out. Nationalism - which is weird and funny when it's jumped-up pip-squeek nations but dangerous when it's a big country.
  5. Well go and live in Saudi Arabia then.
  6. Absolutely right. I still have no sympathy for druggies though.
  7. I predict at least 17 more people would have turned up had we done a parade.

What a nonsense comment really. Why should they? Maybe they didn't want to watch the match. Many of them would also have been pretty stupid if they had, as they would not have got in.
  9. Exactly. Orient were excellent in the air at the front and the back. Any Saints team in the last few years would have lost the physical battle and this match. We completely ran the first half. Unfortunately we didn't score early enough to get another before half-time and the second half was a bit nervy, albeit caused by punts in to our box rather than us being outplayed. All the same, there was not a single point in the match when I thought we would not win. It wasn't champagne but no one is every week.

Good attendance IMO. A lot of people will have spent a fortune last weekend and this was an uninspiring match against lowly non-entity opposition. Over 20,000 is a great attendance in the third tier, in fact.
  11. Huddersfield will batter them. Which is a shame.
  12. If there had been no bars in the venue would it have been acceptable to say, "there's a pub down the road". Honestly, that food comment is just laughable. I wonder which legends were there? Maybe NI was the legend?

    Pppppp

It was probably Forecast and Molyneux or some other nobody.
  14. I can't understand people moaning about Puncheon. Yeah, he had a couple of dodgy moments but he also showed moments of quality. If he played at 100% every game without fail he would be playing for a top Championship side because he is much better than League One standard. He played a great ball in to Waigo for the equaliser on Thursday and when we got the ball to him in dangerous positions today he looked dangerous. I concede that his corners weren't great though!
  15. How do you "downgrade" sea anyway?
  16. What I said before.
  17. You have to be a special kind of **** to keep up such a ridiculous smug veneer in the prevailing circumstances. Really, I bet he is disliked by just about everyone who knows him. An absolute ****, disliked by colleagues and acquaintances alike, with very few genuine friends. What a tosser.
  18. That's just simply a ridiculous comment but anyway it's not really relevant to the thread so I won't mention it... oh
  19. I couldn't care less.
  20. I believe that there is a Tory policy to introduce a voluntary one-off payment of (something like) £6k or £7k to cover all care required in old age.
  21. Certainly, this is a relevant point in my opinion. It is why managers' complaints about referees and opposition players rarely have any gravitas - if they came out and castigated their players for cheating then they might.
  22. The concept of caveat emptor doesn't apply to contracts between consumers and businesses or people acting in the course of business. This wasn't someone having a look at an old motor belonging to a private person and agreeing a price, it was an event advertised and billed in a certain way and run as a business enterprise.
  23. Good point, have any uber-yachts been tracked heading towards the Solent region lately? Is there a third Al-Farage brother? Did Storrie's Australian adventure result in a profitable meeting with Mick Take, property tycoon and barbeque magnate? Has Marc Jackson secured the backing of.... well, anyone? Has Fred Dinenage gathered a consortium of Blue Knights?
  24. Yeah, but Peter Storrie is an expert at football negotiations and deal-making and is probably being eyed-up by the Government for a senior consultancy role so there must be real value in here somewhere, you're just not seeing the bigger picture.
  25. Indeed, unless of course you're selling tickets on the door and have no clue how many people are in there.
