Sounds like a screen issue to be honest but try an external monitor as Mewsta suggests. Also, do you get the dots and dashes in the bios start-up screen prior to Vista loading? If you need any work doing on it give me a shout as I'm a Toshiba and HP accredited laptop technician (not Sony but that doen't matter if it's out of warranty anyway). I certainly wouldn't charge you anywhere near the rates you're quoting!

I reckon the club are losing out on a fair bit of revenue to be honest. If they served nice beer and decent grub at competative prices there would be a lot more people getting to the ground earlier and having a drink or two prior to the game? I don't like to harp on about the Stadium of Light (I will anyway!) but their concourse bars are lively and buzzing with people well over an hour before kick off.

I'd just like to add how much I enjoyed reading this post. Not for the content regarding the fight but purely for NC's hapless attempts at trolling. Despite 3 obvious attempts to yet again rile the posters on here he was completely ignored. If more people took this approach then maybe, just maybe, he'd stop doing it all together.
-
The thing is I go up to the Stadium of Light regularly and they do a great pint up there. Lots of options including Kronenberg and Strongbow Extra Cold. You even get a Sunderland Crest on your glass!
-
Depends if you consider £3.20 for half a pint of warm cider to be fine!
-
Now this might seem a minor gripe to most but I think it's a problem that really needs to be addressed by the new regime. The beer I got served at half time in the Northam yesterday was virtually undrinkable, I kid you not. It was possibly one of the worst pints I have ever tasted in my life and I had to wonder whether it had been sat in the barrel since last season! Now I know the beer is never great at SMS but this really took the ****! I saw (and heard) so many people moaning about it and people were chucking half drunk pints away as it was so nasty. Surely it doesn't take that much to store and pour a decent pint of lager!

I think 11th or 12th is realistic but with some good signings we could scrape the plays offs.
-
I lol'd! :smt044 Seriously though, that would make quite a nice away kit for them!
-
Because girls don't like football. SoB retreats to nuclear bunker in back garden...

Lol! Sorry. Hopefully the new manager will have a focus on fitness! WGS anyone?
-
All done. Sorry, forgot about that bit!
-
If this is true of Wotte as well I'd be very worried. Leaving some of the youngsters to look after their own fitness would be suicidal. Get 'em running through Scottish pete bogs with lead wellies or whatever it was WGS did pre-season. That would sort the men out from the boys!
-
Whatever else happens in the coming weeks I feel it is absolutely imperative they focus heavily on fitness. We need to lose the noose around our neck which sees us throw away so many games in the last 15 minutes. When WGS was here we all know how he liked a fit squad and it's no coincidence we enjoyed our most successful period in recent history under his tenure. This coming season will be a tough, physically demanding one and we need to be fully prepared.

It would be devastating for Pompey to go out of business. I wouldn't complain if they had it tough for 2 or 3 years though. Would be nice to be able to gloat at them in revenge for their 'lording it over us' in recent seasons.

If you want to make a point then there's no problem with that. I'm sure most people on here share your sentiments regarding NC. All we ask is that you do it within the confines of the forum rules. Circum-navigating the swear filter to use swear words, espeicially the one you used is not allowed, simple as. Children use this forum and don't need to see that. By the way you shouldn't really complain. I deleted your first post without any action, deleted the 2nd post with a warning and when you did it for a 3rd time I had no choice but to infract you. Many would say you got off lightly.

I didn't realise it included the full mortgage as well though. Almost worth the 10 point deduction I'd say!
-
Now we've got that debt cleared let's get the capacity up to 50k with another mortgage... Whoot!
-
Yeah because all the fans demonstrations against Lowe & Co were acknowledged and acted upon weren't they!
-
Really? Nice!
-
What about the stadium debt?
-
I think it amounts to a lot more than that once he's paid off the debts as well! Giving the club a clean slate has already made him a legend in most peoples eyes. Anyone expecting Abramovic style spending is a tad unrealistic!
