To be fair, I've slept through most of this thread, not just the obligatory skacel bit. Started nodding off after about three posts, when it quickly became apparent that nobody here has any more clue as to if or when Jay Rodriguez is going to sign for us than the one page synopsis on the BBC Saints page.

How would any of us know even an approximation of the available transfer kitty? It could be any amount. The Liebherr family arent short of money and Cortese must know we have to strengthen the squad to aim at a top 10 spot, which is his stated aim. And I cant see Jay Rodriguez being the only transfer target of the management.

How much is he asking? I could use a bit of cheap backup for my bungalow.

I agree, as it happens. When the vote comes, (which is what this threads about,) I cant see the scottish electorate going for independence. If they were to, then I dont have a problem with that. Just got back from a couple of days at Loch Ness, btw.

When I've seen it, say at the Hammersmith Apollo, its not the vendor, its loads of them. You can get a pint anywhere in the venue within 60 seconds, they're all over the place. That said, the next problem would be the extra queues for the toilets. Thats a whole new can of worms.
