Sarcasm my friend, I was agreeing with you!
-
No! they speak complete sense. We spent £7m! we should not have dropped a single point all season. We are Saints, we deserved to be in the Premier league so much more than all the similar size clubs that were in the CCC that year, anything else is just cr*p.
-
Sorry for the delayed response, been a bit of a hectic week. I live in the Reeds behind Watford Junction, so not too far away at all. As I said, I will be at the Walkabout for the game, would be great to watch with another Saint!
-
I appreciate your sentiments. However, we are neither Northern nor Dutch. Therefore, a NO.
-
Another Watford Saint! makes too of us! I'll probably be watching at the Walkabout in the town centre, only place with that may show the game and the Ashes, if you fancy a pint.
-
The above is true unfortunately, the scenes outside St Mary's were disgusting last year. I have nothing against Charlton at all and have always got on really well with their fans when I have been up there.
-
No way. Didn't want to go to Watford, only went to Bolton to try and play in the Euro's and he was out of favour here, he till turned up at the last game of the year to support Saints.
-
Me too. I like the way the poster gets unnecessarily aggressive from the third paragraph after a calm start.
-
He did? Sorry, it was a poor attempt at humour!

Strachan did really annoy me by playing Fuller all the time!

I liked his quote aftr he quit the World cup with Ireland "my dog is the only person who understands me". Not realising his dog was not a person!

I had a season ticket in the Northam for 3 years in my youth. As a contrast to the Chapel it is great. However, after a while, the sheer amount of morons (when I say morons, I don't mean someone who is a bit thick, I mean people who are barely alive) did start to annoy the hell out of me. If you can block this out and enjoy the singing alone, then you will prefer it. If not, then I strongly recommend the Itchen.

I wondered when someone else would notice this! They are about as Swiss as British shipping companies being Bermudan! Even better in my opinion, a win at all costs mentality is sorely needed. Plus, he may hold the German mentality that football should be affordable for fans!
-
Rasiak, Safri,Saganowski, Idiakez (when fit) and Vignal were all good signings.
-
For sheer atmosphere, my favourite was Spurs in the cup - 2-2 at full time and 2-6 by the end! The place was rockin that night too!

A skate curtain has descended on South Hampshire, from Hamble in the west to Bognor in the east.

what happens if Pinacle/MLT retain Wotte as manager
Danny R replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I certainly will. If we can play anything like the way we played against Burnley then we should be fine. It may be better to have a bit of continuity for the players this season and then look at possible options. -
Both Peterborough and Swansea went up playing 'pretty pretty stuff', I do not understand the mentality of getting 11 cloggers in and playing teams at their own game and that if we do this, we ge promoted! I've seen Watford so many times unde Boothroyd and the football is disgraceful.
-
I'm not making it up. The conversation really did happen. What I am not saying is that he has anything to do with the takeover.

I got talking to a Turkish Oil Baron in a Hotel in London about 2 years ago. He was a great friend of Souness and claimed he brought him to Galatasary. He used to live in Southampton as he studied at Warsash. Hopefully, my drunken chat has lead him to buy Saints! I hope so, he had a great tache and wore a beret.
-
I don't agree with the above at all. Both MK Dons and Peterborough have 'delicate little flowers' and have performed well. Plus, the bloke who scored the goal was about 5 foot tall and probably weighed about 8 stone!
-
I don't know. I think Dyer might do well in the dutch league, where you need less of an ariel presence.
-
Would be nice to see the likes of McClaggon and Gobern, who were both excellent against Reading and will need to be heartbeat of the side next year. If we get it down and play, it should be a good game against a very good Burnley team.

Cheers mate. Hopefully we can relegate that **** Billy Davies on the last day for you!
