Shame for an 18-year-old to get a 5-year ban. He may have cheated but remember these betting scandals are controlled by organised crime and it must have been very intimidating for Mohammad Amir to have been approached by them. I think that they preyed on him because of his age and although he did what he did, most likely the real criminals will get away, whilst his career is in tatters at 18.
