Exactly. I think the real problem, perhaps with this board and perhaps with the world in general, is that people spend hours quibbling about whether Baa Baa Black Sheep is offensive, in the meanwhile Dune comes out with stuff like this, stuff he believes, and no one bats an eyelid.

Two things: 1. Just to be clear. Though Dune is now saying that he thinks it might have been better, his original statement said that he thought things would have been much better had the Nazi's been in power in Britain; no 'might' about it. At least his slight retraction shows he has some understanding of the stupidity of his original statement. 2. Don't you think it is important that Dune is shown to be a dyed-in-the-wool fascist, when considering his opinions on every other subject, such as political correctness, the rights of gay people to marry/adopt, multiculturalism, etc? He has strong opinions on every subject, and has already made up his mind. He is not interested in debate, despite what he says. That is why I do not debate with him.

You can't even say the Nazi's were alright anymore without the PC brigade getting on your back. This country makes me sick. What next - we won't be able to use the word P*ki (term of endearment), W*g (friendly nickname), Sambo (harmless banter) or even N*gger (they love that word). As far as I can see, being PC means not being able to say all the things we want to say. The PC brigade (we know who they are - basically (and I'll get in trouble with them for this as well) they're a bunch of benders) pander to all those other groups of society whilst ignoring us ordinary white men! I'm like a second class citizen in my own country. Some people, like dune are even like 3rd class citizens, but then I suppose the PC brigade will tell me I'm not allowed to say "3rd class" in case it upsets people. I'll probably have to say "class hindered" or something. Well, I can tell you this for nothing, so listen carefully any PC benders out there - if I want to express my human rights by calling someone a W*g or a P*ki then I will. Lighthouse has made a perfectly valid point, but as usual, some people are too challenged in the brain department to see it. The arguement that Turkey has put forward is that it is not natural for homosexuals to have children, they biologically can't do it and therefore they shouldn't be allowed to adopt because it is against the laws of nature and a bad, bad thing. what Lighthouse should have said is - "I take it that you choose not to fly using aeroplane, but by flapping your wings, given that sitting in big metal bird is not not natural and against the laws of nature? Oh wait a second, you don't have any wings do you? No, because although you have the brain of a budgie, you are not a bird. Therefore you should never fly anyway. Similarly, when transporting yourself from one place to another, given that you only think things that are natural are proper and correct, I take it you shun cars, buses, motorcycles and other forms of transport other than your own legs? And given your insistence that only things that are biologically natural and correct, I am sure you grow all your own vegetables and refuse to purchase anything that has been processed. I'm surprised you even know who Elton John is because it's certainly not natural to sit in front of the big shiny box and watch the magic pictures is it?
