I asked our HR/ Legal team this is what they said based on what you have said "Your friend has not been strictly dealt with in accordance with employment law: Although the period of consultation is not determined e.g. one week can be seen as acceptable, he should have been informed, in writing, that his job was at risk, in the first instance and setting out the reasons why this situation has developed. The colleague who has a comparable position should also have received a similar letter. There is mention of a skills matrix and your friend has the right to see that and to be able to comment on the scoring. As this is a redundancy situation, the management team can decide who stays and goes providing there is a clear justification of their choice. If he believes he has been selected solely on the fact that his salary is more than the other person's he certainly has a case for unfair dismissal. If the salary element is a real problem to his organisation there are ways that this can be managed e.g. the management team might have approached him and 'ring fenced' his salary for a specific period, or he may have volunteered to take a pay cut in order to retain his job. When he meets with his MD today, he should be offered the opportunity to be accompanied and the right of appeal"

OK a "oh my god im going to be 30 next year" crisis. Dont worry, I had one of them too! I Brought a nice coupe soft top. It didnt last a year. Now Im having a "god im nearly 40 crisis!" But getting back to the Z4, my mate had one and loved it. Yes the BMW service is expensive but he used the BWM garage in Bartley. Not a dealer but they are all ex BMW service engineers

When LH and AL are breaking forward at the same time it works as we have seen. But I noticed at the last Brum game and again tonight, we seem to be breaking away a lot more and both DMG and SJ were left to deal with 3 or 4 defenders while the others play catch up. It reminds me of when Dowie used to be up front on his own, the ball was played to him and he used to flick it on to no one:) I just feel that if LH or AL stayed a little closer it would be more beneficial. does that make sense

I enjoyed that very much although still not getting too excited. We do have some class there and I hope the lads grow stronger both physically and mentally as time goes on. I still dont get this playing one up front business but maybe with the new lad from spurs that might change. Also I thought Bent who is a big old unit who won most things in the air was kept under wraps as was Phillips when he came on. He was second to near enough most of the balls due the great tackling from our defence. One thing I did like was the fact that when we scored every player apart from Bart joined in the celebrations, the team morale is good and I hope can take things forward

PL, sorry to hear about Scampi. I know how you feel as I had to take my dog a few years back to put down (he was 13) The worse feeling ever but it was for the best.

Have I missed something? There has never been a takeover, just a change of board.

I can not honestly beleive people are going this OTT about Lowe, JP etc. We beat a team that has worst record in the history of the football league. Although Im happy about the win yesterday it is just one game. If we had lost people would have been going mad. The best way to look at the situation is after about 10 games when have played a wider scope of team.

Stanley welcome to the world of corporate PR. Wilde is no different to any other executive that is placed before public. To be fair to Wilde he will answer questions that he can as he has done before on the old forum. I have been to many shareholder meetings of different companies and when the execs have been asked questions that are close to the mark or are confidential you always get the same answer. Did you really think this was going to be different. I just hope the echo try to get a balanced view from all aspects. If people are not happy with the echo interview, I will speak to him and ask him if he was do one for us (if the other admins dont mind)

Sorry Phil but Diggers has just dug a hole for him self now (excuse the pun ). Having spoken to John for about an hour at the West Hame game, I know he reads this site as does one of the other directors who I have know for some time. I can almost guarantee that John will now not say anything to Diggers now especially now he has given his identity away (best man etc) Im afraid this mentality of people demanding to know the source is ridiculous. I appreciate the fact that we are desparate to know, but doing it could cause problems for 1)The source 2) The receiver 3) Their relationship

What I mean is, that all these little snippets have been around for a while and it is becoming more widley spread. This time around it is taking a lot longer for things to come out and people are keeping things they hear to themselves

Speak to a pro, most say they dont even hear the crowd while playing, as they are focused. Its only when there is an injury or the game has slowed down a bit they hear it.
