This seems like the most pointless signing we've ever made. Signing a player from a crap and then likely to loan him out to an equally crap team. If he ain't good enough now he never will be - he's not exactly young at 25..... and on a 5 year deal, wtf.........

Like they did with Stephens and McCarthy - it's just a shambles. Who else extends contracts of 2 players and is too embarrassed (or to incompetent) to announce it?

Youth purchases are a very risky business. Some will pay off, some won't - these types of signings should be used to supplement a wider transfer strategy as opposed to relying on it. Trust me, It will catch up with us at some point. And by the way, Broja is not our player.........

And my point is - you can sign as many players as you like but if only 1 is good enough to get in the starting your gping backwards. Do you want the club to get a pat on the back for signing 6 players last summer with only 1 improving the the starting 11. Surely that's a massive negative and one that will end up getting us relegated.

How many of them improved the first 11?

Point to note - a keeper that is just competent is not good enough at this level - really going for it with this no holds barred approach.
