Manuel Pochettino??!?! Another excuse to dislike the ignorant fool even more...........

I got goosebumps when I saw him talking with Ramirez at the training ground (4:11), I would not have believed this could really actually happen whilst we were in L1. It's obvious how pleased Pochettino is to have landed him, and the rapport between them is already clear to see especially at the end.

Is he the first Italian international to play for us? Have we ever fielded an Italian before?

If ever there was a day and a signing that fully justified why Cortese replaced Adkins for Pochettino, then this is it. There is no way that Adkins would have brought in the likes of Osvaldo. As much as I am grateful to Adkins for bringing us to the Premiership, today would not have happened without Pochettino being here having been his manager at Espanyol. Now that Osvaldo has been signed, his signing can only strengthen our value in future transfer windows.

When he finally signs, and reunites with Mauricio Pochettino, hopefully we can expect some more banter in this kind of vein: Shame that I don't speak Spanish......

I thought that the interpreter was vey patient to be fair, he waited for Pochettino to finish what he had to say before translating what he said in reply to the interviewer. At no part of the interview did I hear him being interrupted.......
