My thoughts too. I'm sick of watching Saints. We are just so damn slow, clueless, and mediocre. Brief respite for the promotion season, but much of that was average and frustrating too.

Another thing that troubles me is the subs. Yes, make subs to change the game but at one point we had far too many attacking players on, getting in each other's way and very vulnerable to a quick break because THB and JS were creeping up the pitch too. Each game they seem haphazard and desparate. We've had a few recent managers do this. Just throw players on, bugger the formation, tactics, balance, plan etc. Sure if you are chasing the game late on but at 65, 70, 75 minutes? Feels extremely amateur.

Trying to feel optimistic. If we keep the back 4 formation, get Jalert in for Downes. Scienza looks lively, Azaz and Fellowes should settle in but our forwards, wow, they all look so blunt. Was hoping Archer could catch some form but he doesn't really make much of the crumbs he's given.

And Downes needs some time out of the team. He's killing us. -Almost always passes backwards -Forwards passes straight to opposition -Gets really stupid yellows -Constantly gets turned by a player when trying to challenge

We're so slow and clueless in the final 3rd. With a bit more pace and awareness there were quite a few killer balls that could have been played but we play like robots, get it wide, swing in cross, hope something decent happens... Not good enough.

We work hard to get into crossing positions but the crossing is dreadful. Mind you even if it was good, I saw Stewert jump under at least 5 flick ons so I'm not convinced we'd score from a good cross.

Playing better now but Flynn Downes is total dogshit.

He got away with it with our journos going easy on him. These Rangers fellas are pulling no punches! The imbalance in Scotland is so great that it's almost impossible not to have success of some sort at Rangers or Celtic. He's finally being outed as one of the worst tacticians of all time. 😆

We put ourselves under such unnecessary pressure every game by making sloppy passes, getting caught on the break and either scored on or we have to take a yellow to stop it.

The Irakundu yellow looked like the sort of challenge that gets a VAR red in the EPL. Naturally he bagged the equalizer a few minutes later...

We play some decent stuff at times, but fuck, we're sloppy in possession, not clinical at all, and Baz, he barely stops anything that's not right at him. Hope the 2 new guys can improve us.

Oppo goalie always makes 3 or 4 decent saves. Baz never seems to get near anything.
