Really, a punch up over whether it's a big game or not. LOL. The way I see it is that when AC played Pompey it was the biggest career game of all time for players like Inzaghi who had dreamt about playing them since the days of Alan Biley. Surely it must be the same for Inter and us. This is massive for them.

...and those AC Milan players that were pinching themselves at being able to play against one of the bestest teams of all time in the mecca of football. Watching the likes of Chris Kamara, Trevor Senior and Alan Biley play in front of 120,000 is what got Filippo Inzaghi into football as a young boy.

Ah Ok. so a bit different from what I thought. I figured it was more like in (ice) hockey whereby a chance is a clear chance to score but was either fluffed or saved. Hockey is often 30-35 shots but 10-12 "chances" per game.

This is "goal scoring chances created" rather than "total shots". You might get a shot off through a crowded penalty area but can hardly call it a chance as it was a mile off target and speculative to begin with.
