And the reason they could do it was because Labour didn't regulate them. The Tories started the deregulation process in 1996 though, but Labour have been in office long enough to have corrected the error. Brown is a liar when he says the current meltdown is unprecedented - it happened in the 1920's when the stock market wasn't regulated. We are heading for a depression because Brown (and others) didn't learn from history.

I can see the logic in holding/increasing prices. Saints are down to the hardcore rockbottom (go no matter what) fanbase now so they are ripe for exploitation. Reducing prices won't correlate to enough extra bums on seats to offset any reduction IMO.

Could we try having polls after the subject has been debated. Say make a thread a sticky debate with poll following 48 hours after. That's how they do it in parliament and i think it'd be better to do it like that.

I'm not saying for one minute that recent climate change isn't real. The climate of earth is always swinging one way or the other. Sunspots are the reason for the variations if you must know.

The Thames froze every year in the 17th century - a cold period. The climate changes - it has done since the dawn of time. It can change slowly and it can change quickly.
