  1. I understand your point, but your facts aren't right about Burnley as their stadium was modern when they declined. Hillborough wasn't exactly modern when Wednesday went down, but it was still used for FA cup semi finals - look at it now! St Marys may be modern now (ignore the rust) but in a decade it'll be showing it's age - modern stadiums like all modern builds aren't built to last!
  2. I didn't. The elation of beating Sheff united was a tarnished by knowing captain calamity was about to return.
  3. In 30 years time we'll be telling stories about how we were once a top flight club, much in the same way pensioners do in Blackpool and Burnley when they reminiss about the good old days. I can see no way back for us for many many years to come.
  4. Speaking for myself i'm getting bored of Southampton Football Club and all the shenanigans. I still care, but not as much as i used to, and all the off the field nonsense has really taken it's toll. Demos and Marches are all well and good, but it's apathy that will put the final nail into the clubs coffin imo. Our declining attendances show that more and more people are reaching the "past caring" breaking point.
  5. No probs, Johnny****wit isn't very bright.
  6. City of Sound - what a dive that was, but still a good drinking club on a Friday night.
  7. I've spoke about the Frog and Frigate on here before (Ponty used to drink there too i think he mentioned) - what a brilliant drinking pub that was (still is?). I did a Delboy and fell through the bar there TWICE in one night.
  8. Ah yeah, i knew it as Jolies. Cheers for clearing that up.
  9. It's always amusing how you try and act all clever by highlighting minor gramatical errors in what people state, either spelling mistakes or the accidental omission of words. Given the fact you come accross as being rather uneducated it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I can see errors in your post, can you?
  10. I bet Illingsworth gets in on the act.
  11. The less stickies the better imo.
  12. What was the club called that was in St Marys church hall in about 1995? I don't think it was open for that long but i remember being off my head in there several times and loved it.
  13. I agree with this. The whole Jacksons Farm conspiracy theory is bullsh1t imo.
  14. I don't believe the excuse given. Many people enjoyed the UK theme and tuned is specially to listen to it. But as always in this country the minority got their way.
  15. + 1
  16. This advert needs showing again to stop the inconsiderate ****s up my road.
  17. Who plays who then?
  18. Wilde has no supporters. It must feel lonely for him being universally disliked by saints fans.
  19. Horrible beer, and looking at it now a sh1t ad, but in it's day this was a cult advert.
  20. I disagree with you about these marches being pointless. They keep us united and focussed on removing Lowe and Wilde and bring like minded people together. They keep the issue on the agenda. On their own they might not have a great effect on Lowe and his cronies but their continuation will act as a catalyst for more effectual actions.
  21. 3 weeks since the last board meeting?! Is it common practice for them to be this infrequent?
  22. Craig David.
  23. Scudamore what is with you. Do you enjoy ruining threads for other people?
  24. Yeah ok of course they did.
