  1. what? we're talking about a small percentage of the population not the size of the people themselves.
  2. as to that I couldn't say; Following his gaze on the video he seems to be looking at the incident, whether he can see it or not is something else.If Seabourne had kept that bloody arm down I don't think he would have given it, perhaps the arm is all he sees.
  3. although it would explain their easy acceptance of the sawtooth results . Nobody wanted to go down but as were here we might as well stay here because we win a few games...would seem to be the attitude.
  4. I would have thought that you could buy Zimbabwe for £300  Anyway apparently we've had to give the South Africans a million £ to boost their condom supplies so their WC is going to cost the taxpayer as well.
  5. nowhere near as small as you'd like to think. http://www.healthexpress.co.uk/news/obesity_pandemic.html
  6. but these pictures are 2 or 3 frames too late. Have you access to Saint's player? look at the highlights between 2 minutes and 2 minutes and 8 seconds. You'll see that Seabourne approaches the players from behind, stops and then goes through him with his arm up around the blokes face (or pulling his shirt) To me it's a tackle from behind and is probably sanctionnable, whether the ref can see it or not is something else, I'd say he can but who knows.
  7. I've been to Canada, my Mrs hasn't although she has the Canadian nationality (and 3 others) Her dad was a Canadian, her mum French of Spanish descent. I love going back to the old country, unfortunately when I see all the obesity, binge drinking, degradation and squalor the mood only lasts about an hour usually.;)Plus the bastards drive on the wrong side of the road.
  8. But some people do eat them all the time, they are addicted to fast food probably because it's quick, cheap and instantly available. I have also seen studies on casomorphines which may or may not explain the current trend in fast food addiction.
  9. Including those who have a Canadian sister but are not themselves Canadians, haven't worked that one out yet. My Mrs is a sort of Canadian, well on her boring days she is anyway, never been to Canada though.
  10. Although that would be only fairly factual as the 2007 census numbers them at nearly 61 million.Which may of course include overseas residents.
  11. Super Size Me shows the nocive effects of those wonderful products.
  12. although I'm not sure that our results with it are particularly great. Anyone sad enough to have any stats on that?
  13. And for every home game drawn you need to win one away, elementary, until you lose a couple of home games that is.You just have to look at the difference between our record and that of Norwich, we've only lost 1 more game than they have so far but we are 21 actual points behind them. It's because they draw very few games compared to us,yet we (in theory) have the better side.
  14. Must be the sort of bloke likely to bid 2000 dollars for a ghost in a bottle then. I will sum up our play-offs chances very succinctly--non existent and if AP believes otherwise it's just to please his boss. We had our chance,we needed to win last Saturday and we f*cked it up.
  15. that's pretty straightforward, it depends on how they see the game being played. Now I had a look at Wigan-Liverpool last evening and I'd say that Gerrard wouldn't even get into our side on his performance last night, others might consider that he was one of England's finest footballers and still is. Morgan is a classy young footballer but being at Southampton isn't doing him any good at all because half the fans like gung ho kick and rush football. To me it looks more like rugby with up and unders and high balls pumped out of scrums.
  16. Oh he touches him alright, goes right through him and if the highlights video was a bit cleaner I think we might even see him pulling the bloke's shirt a bit. Stupid tackle, the bloke was going nowhere, just needed to stand off him and make sure he didn't turn or backhead the ball. Still all very academic now, shouldn't have subbed Harding anyway.
  17. Wrap up warmly then,it's f*cking freezing and there's about 2 foot of snow on the south coast. Global warming?? yer 'aving a larf:mad:
  18. I slowed down and froze framed the highlights video a few times,Seaborne's elbow is under the blokes chin from the camera angle. From the other side it might look perfectly innocent though but as there's no photographic image freely available I just couldn't say.
  19. Zamora would have been 22 going on 23 at the time he moved to Spurs.
  20. I don't remember any stories about Surman's drinking...not one.
  21. Certainly isn't, not say compared to some of the blatant diving and plunging that have obtained penalties with no contact at all.I don't like the look of where Seaborne's right elbow is and I suspect that the ref didn't either.Could be nothing in it but there's definite contact and that elbow up under the blokes chin is suspect. Probably just another knob ref though but a bloke in his first season as a League ref might get easily confused by that.
  22. i don't really know, Seaborne's right arm seems to go across their blokes throat and with his knee stuck behind their bloke's leg even the slightest backward pressure by the elbow of Seaborne will send the Tranmere man to the ground. You need to see it from the other side (ie from the corner flag direction) to see what he does with that right elbow.Still the ref probably couldn't see it either. If you can you need to stop the image on the frame where Seaborne's elbow is hidden behind the Tranmere's players face.
  23. Based on ?
  24. Still if he has the option of staying at Wolves, moving to Forest or coming back to play in the 3rd division with us, I don't expect it will take him long to decide.
  25. Although from what I've heard Hammond's contribution was pretty insignificant on Saturday. Would you agree with that?
