  1. Yes but there a plenty of French people who now have the UK nationality. Doesn't mean british origin, means british nationality. Any French lady (or man in the vice-versa case) married to a brit can acquire the nationality It's not exclusive but it helps. You also have specialist teachers of foreign extraction but they aren't "titulaires" ie Civil Servants.
  2. Still if Long Shot knows the actually figure he might as well tell us Seems since he bumped into Fulthorpe at the Doncaster betting booth he knows a whole lot of things about a whole lot of stuff. We should always welcome posters who have seen the light on the road to Damascus,or in his case the stairway to the betting stall.
  3. Think you had to be pretty sharp about it though. Weren't they sold out pretty quickly? Not the best of matches, the Chargers are having a pretty poor season and the Saints are a disaster this time round. Still NFL is always a spectacle worth seeing. thought they would have got Vashti Bunyan in to sing the national anthem though.
  4. How much is it then(roughly)?
  5. Kids smash up a school because they can't have a snooker table?? You jest me right?
  6. That's what happens when you don't strictly limit the teaching profession to UK nationals only. Plenty of EEC countries have the same rule. Finance Ministry,Education Ministry,Defence Ministry - nationals only.
  7. Nah ,John will start. He wasn't back till Friday you know. If some of our "young stars" were whining about extra training on Thursday, how do you expect a guy to play on Saturday when he's just come back from the Caribbean the day before.
  8. Boycotting or not turning up because we're not too good leads to the same result....Less money at the gate.
  9. Do what, report the darling cherubs to the police; The parents will be round there to give them a sharp smack in the face with 2 seconds. Don't know just how much you know about chav Britain(only a small part of the whole) Martini, but it makes you shudder.Saw two dads knocking the stuffing out of each other on a beach down by Bordeaux last summer. One had had the affront to lecture the darling cherub of the other for taking the plug of of his son's water wings when he couldn't swim.
  10. I don't see McCain winning though. the rednecks thought they could run any old joker and still win against a woman or an african-american. Guess they thought wrong. Obama will probably be just as bad (or good) as most of the others, McCain is an old joke.
  11. Been like that in continental Europe since Day 1 on mobile phones. No valid ID (and I don't mean a student union card or a note from yer mum)= no mobile phone.
  12. No, badly behaved youngsters are caused by said society? Is that not possible. That's the way it comes over to non-UK residents We have the extreme pleasure of seeing a representative cross section of British society drunk and disorderly in town squares, throwing terrace furniture about, puking up in cabs, ****ging on beaches etc etc. Perhaps we just get the low life chavs though.
  13. But then, although I have not much recent first hand knowledge of life in the UK, isn't Britain a degenerate hedonistic society? Money is all that counts. That's why all your banks are in serious brown. People can't even accept being refused a loan, they just hawk their mortgage(s) around till they find someone who'll lend them more for bigger cars and flasher holidays.
  14. Ramos is a Spaniard, he needs a squad of 16 Spaniards,4 Dutch,2 Poles,3 Argentines and 8 Brazilians. He doesn't need English,Scots or Welsh. Continental coaches can't do anything with our lads, they're too headstrong, chavvish and disrespectful.
  15. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/3772566.Pupils_go_on_rampage_at_city_school/ Is Britain in general and Southampton in particular as degenerate as that. These are kids, they need their parents to give them a good smacking, if not they'll all end up either pregnant at 16 or in juvey.
  16. So is the merry Andrew anyone of note?? or just some geezer who happens to be called Andrew?
  17. Are you seriously trying to tell me that buffoon Scooby is really Andrew Cowan??? Don't make me laugh.;-) Sorry to disappoint you all but no professional football club administrator would ever risk that. Calling Crouch an 'insect' could lead to serious serious trouble for them if it ever got out.Sorry lads, think what you like, have your fun but Scooby isn't Andrew Cowan, if he is he would have been forced to resign by now.
  18. Imagine how he must be feeling, probably on about £2000 a week (or less) far from home and he sees blokes on 5 or 6 times that cacking it in the treatment room week after week after week. Wouldn't be surprised if he asks to leave in January. He must be thoroughly p!ssed off with what he sees. I know I am and he's even closer.
  19. That was a very general 'you', meaning us (being saints)
  20. Nothing so clandestine, he's just the latest in the long line of Fulthorpe's 00?"licence to spread shîte about" brigade. FF,LongShot,Nick01 might be the very same as LS) who wants to be next?. NB. It would be particularily alarming if our overdraft had increased (rather than decreased) at this stage of the season. Face it, our revenue is about 6000(if that)x£24=£144000 every two weeks. So unless we're paying the totality of our players, coaches, admin staff, academy staff etc less than £72000 per week it is unthinkable, especially as we are 2 months or more off the transfer window (unless there are instalments due on players). So far we've whipped up about 4.5 million in transfers and add ons, we got the season ticket money in and we have made some cash on the home games. I would very very much doubt that our overdraft has increased (it's not the period in which than happens). If we're minus 8 million now, we'll be all done by the end of November, ain't going to happen because what you say probably isn't correct.
  21. Well it wasn't in the corner if the keeper hardly had to move. As I said, inside the post by about 6ins/1ft is the way, low down or high up, the rest are 50/50 for the keeper. If you miss it might come back off the bar or the post and you might get another crack.
  22. So why didn't he do that again then? thought the keeper would go down to his left expect.
  23. For the keeper it was probably a question of logic, we had already had one weakly hit penalty saved, the next was 50/50 on a power drive up the middle!.Good players place penalties either 6 inches from either post, hard hit a foot off the ground or take a risk and bang them up under the bar.We might be known as a team who gets their fair share of penalties with Lallana going down like whore's drawers in the box at the slightest touch. I presume the opposition goalkeeping coach would know all about everybody who's ever taken a penalty for us (or elsewhere).Sports science eh, don't ya just hate it, bring back nail in leather studs and knee length shorts.
  24. It was the 26th November last year, plenty of time as yet. Although I would have thought that the new team would want to get them out to highlight the mess we were in when they took over. Those accounts aren't going to be pretty reading with administration and player salary costs sky high, nearly to a laughable extent.Plenty of snouts in the trough gobbling up their fill methinks. If you look at the accounts for 2007 they weren't that bad, we reduced our losses AND our debts, that despite buying quite a few players in the summer of 2006. But with the sale of Bale we actually made a profit on player trading in that year. In fact in the year 2006/7 the club was quite well run. Then came the nitty gritty-loss of parachute payments-and the sh!t started. We increased our wage bill and didn't do very well on the field. All our problems are generated by those disastrous 12 months, especially the ones from December 2007 to June 2008.
  25. Morgan is a great little player, but at his age you can't expect him to play through injuries, like we did with Pahars all those games. At 18 ,you've all your career in front of you,you don't want to be playing week in week out at 60% fit.
