  1. It's the 33000 odd trade that seems to have depressed the price. Not a great sign, Only 22p bid, could be a stormy week, certainly no takeover.
  2. I went to Blackpool once, has the most scary fairground ride of all. A big dipper where you're just sat on a wooden horse.Been there, done that for most attraction parks, but that one-not sure that I'd have another stab at it.
  3. Too complicated for me all this betting I'm afraid.
  4. I'd personally feel ill at ease with a "chairman" who bets on his own team's results. Is that ethical-not that he's chaiman of course. Do Rupert and Mike bet on matches?
  5. Not 250/1 then
  6. I think it was only about 3/1 for the win actually.(I looked it up)
  7. Could be a composite bet though. I'm staggered that anyone bothered to look it up.
  8. Yes but you have to admit that £13 is a fair old dob of dosh for football of that standard. Especially when a lot of poor dears don't know how they're going to find the money for their next weekend in the Bahamas or a couple of cases of vintage bubbly. Strange what happens when you can't keep re-mortgaging your house isn't it.
  9. Long Shot Lifelong Saint Bul LS hit strange coincidence ehh, no offence meant gents.
  10. Did we establish the exact nature of this 125/1 miracle?? Sorry DIY'ing today, no time to keep up.
  11. Something wrong with the leg that wasn't dicky before. Can't remember if Jan was precise about exactly what in his post Doncaster piece.
  12. Dropped of course, Apparently he was absolute sh!ite last Tuesday, lost the game all by himself.
  13. You mean when you could drop a fiver on the pavement on your way to work and it'd still be there when you passed by on your way home? yeah right :smt048:smt048:smt048
  14. I don't think it's 20 or 30 million to be honest.
  15. Don't think he will be though.
  16. Nope, with Bart in goal on a full time basis they'd be relegation certainties. 100/1 on 'ish
  17. And even then you can't be sure that they'd bring the desired result. ie Citeh yesterday,Tottenham. Big money transfers nowadays are a lottery, designed to sell shirts and boost crowds-until the novelty wears off.Don't know how much Wigan payed for Taki-but he was worth at least double.
  18. But then you've changed a winning team haven't you. The defence for the first 66 minutes had Wotton and Lancashire as the central pair. Svensson needs to be put out to grass.
  19. Great, we won a match, time to crank the old takeover handle a bit.
  20. There seems to be one positive point about Scoobs and Sundance, it seems that it's OK to insult them and not get infraction points. Try telling any other poster to f off, bet you get a few points on the meter.
  21. But the goalkeeper is an integral part of the team. That's why you need a good one and not a pillock like Bart.I watched some of Arsenal Hull yesterday. Myhill won against Arsenal all by himself, true the others scored 2 goals but he saved at least 5 .
  22. Bollo, as an optimist I've the right to get carried away, at least until Tuesday.

    Euell?

Or read the OS from time to time. Works wonders, even if the information is "spun" it gives you some sort of basic idea. You can then put your own slant on it and become a pro or an anti-but an informed one.
  24. Did I, don't remember quite frankly.:smt083:smt083:smt083
  25. Yes Mpenza on 10K a week, we have non performing clowns on that, that's why we're in the brown. If they have one and he's doing OK and we have several who aren't doing anything apart from frequenting the treatment room or being crap-see what I mean.up
