  1. Probably be more interesting than the football :smt110:smt110:smt110:smt110
  2. Give him a call, tell him that, it's no good telling us.
  3. Long Lunch Breaks. Good shop Squires, allied with D'Artagnan in Winchester you could always look your best of a Saturday night.
  4. I said I doubt it that's all. We all know that Lowe is salaried on the basis of 2 days per week, said so himself. It's not an urban myth it's fact. In the 2006/7 campaign the directors emoluments came to 529 K ish plus pension fund + NHS charges. That's a lot of dosh, that's nothing to do with Lawrie Mac,he got "expenses" .If you look at the accounts for 2005/6 you'll see that the highest paid directors (presumably Lowe) was paid about 140K for the year. 2/5ths of that makes about 56K per annum.
  5. Doubt it actually.
  6. April 2007. Um, it's well documented. Our shares were going at about 50P and upwards in those days, we were getting towards the play-offs and things looked good(ish).
  7. I shall wait and see, the end of year accounts should be out in a month or so. We shall then see the true extent of the operational losses last year and their source. From then on we'll have a better idea of where we stand.
  8. 29 man squad isn't particularly small but we do seem to be having more than our share of injuries again.Limited is a fair appraisal, we need to get at least Gasmi into action, the continued absence of Schneirderlin is worrying.I thought Euell might have been extremely useful for us-evidently I was wrong.
  9. i thought we already did that, which ending in Lowe slagging him off at some Prince of Wales trust function or other for lack of results. Get this straight once and for all; you can sell something saleable if your even a mediocre salesman, to sell "difficult" concerns you have to be exceptional, perhaps Harris ain't that good.Lowe told him he was "a ******* disgrace" in front of HRH ,so he can't be all that efficient.
  10. Lowe gets paid on a basis of 2 days a week I think, Wilde gets absolutely sweet FA as far as I know. Why you keep on and on and on about their salaries beggars belief, they get no more than ambassador man Laurie Mac got in expenses.
  11. And so we will.I am as yet unconvinced that this season is loss making. As long as we're in the Carling with the hope of a mega pay day somewhere down the line ,with the cuts that have been made, I think we'll be OK, not great but OK. I think there is vast vast underestimation on the level of cut backs. They've got to get those 2007-2008 figures out for you all to believe me on the astronomical sums we were squandering on utter garbage, player wise and coach wise.
  12. Out of interest does anyone know what women actually do on(usually) alternate Saturday afternoons from mid-August until mid May, or is this what they're trying to find out with the LHC (which is current "hors service" or fooked as we say in colloquial English)
  13. This is the actual team for Rotherham or a hypothesis?
  14. But Bovis do have an option don't they? Can you sell something to the highest bidder when someone has a long standing option for which they have paid 500K which would have to be returned ?
  15. I don't know if the stadium is our major asset, I'm not au fait with stuff like planning permission and land values but I suspected in terms of straight cash and saleability Jackson's Farm has a greater value than SMS when you take away the residual mortgage on it.Now it would seem to me thatBovis have an option on JF until 2009, if we went into total administration could they not claim it at a knockdown price?
  16. Maybe he doesn't want to sell, not at a loss anyway. Only the people who own the club can sell it, us uniting won't do any good in any respect apart from getting behind the team, playing our way out of the hole we're in and making the club a prospect worth buying. There are no billionaires queuing up to buy us , not even anyone with any money of their own-this myth just has to be dispelled once and for all so that we can get on with playing football with the team as it stands and the board as it is..
  17. Ah right Professor Pangloss, all for the best in the best of possible worlds sort of stuff.
  18. Anyone who's out through injury. The point being that when you have a "system" it is often only as good as it's component parts. If you have injuries the replacements can't always fulfill the exact role of the players they replace, thus you have to tweak the system to compensate. Holmes,Schneiderlin, even Gillett seem to be key in Jan's system, if they're out you may have to change to benefit.
  19. But they're not available just now, which is the whole point of changing the system.James and Holmes aren't putting the crosses in which to Jan's mind is the problem, he's trying to play two all out attackers on the wings in McG and BWP, they aren't natural there so they keep drifting inside.
  20. Lampard and Essien, 2 other brilliant players who are extremely hard.
  21. Could be the rumourr going round at Skate that he's being eyed up for the Toon job again.Players are worried that they'd have to turn up and work at training instead of ritually swanning about.
  22. Yep, out of position in the treatment room and onto the pitch.
  23. Nope Schneirderlin is out,as is Gillett. Skacel WILL NOT play.Holmes still out as well.
  24. we're playing Rotherham, I think it's the attacking plan that's going to be changed, 3-2-5, attackers are about all we've got left. We'll win 12-9
