  1. Killer isn't playing,
  2. But take out Schneiderlin and Killer, what've you got left? We have 29 in the squad,3 are keepers, so we're down to 26 outfield players. About 8 are injured or suspended,Skacel looks like a non-starter (why I've no idea) so that put us down to 17 for 14 places. If you want to exclude BWP and Dyer means you've got to put Paterson,White,K Davies in the squad. The average age will be about 12.
  3. Since when? I thought he came through 90 for the reserves. There was no mention of him on the last injury report.
  4. No, looks like we'll be scraping the barrel in defence and midfield. If Skacel doesn't play there is a big big problem.
  5. Some of the prices are very low, no stadium loan, directors putting their hands in their pockets at will (cos they had no choice)Probably sensible salarys and they'll never win anything anyway. http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/SeasonTickets/0,,10355,00.html
  6. So could Doctor Who or that guy from Quantum Leap, by going back in time and telling Crouch to keep the ball in the corner against Everton-still as Tull said: Where the hell was Biggles when you needed him last Saturday.
  7. If he does he'd probably be too busy to post just now, they're having a greedy bastard day today, loads of money being made now that the fed is shoring up all those bankrupt banks-pure folly.Still someone probably just menshed to George W that AlQaeda were trying to wreck his banking system in the sure knowledge that he'd toss them a few trillion bucks.
  8. Club can't survive on those prices. If it's all you can afford, Salisbury at £13 is your best bet or Eastleigh. There has been a furore lately about QPR hiking their prices to £50 , how do you expect us to compete at 12£ a game? If you want a cheap price you've got to get an early bird season ticket at £380 or an adult/junior pair season ticket. These were on sale last March,April and May. If you didn't take them up ,it's £24 quid a game.
  9. So the Beeb is as clued up as usual. How those blokes get their info mixed up all the time is simply amazing .
  10. Schneirderlin not ruled out then, just false propaganda -could be,mind games and all that, still don't think they're in Jan's line of coaching really.
  11. But that's not what somebody told us sure fire, gospel ,right on, redsee, absolutely and definitely spot on the nose "fact" earlier on today is it?
  12. But this is the point as always. £24 is the normal ticket price but it's certainly not the average bum on seat revenue. If you had the time (and the inclination) you could go through a seasons attendances and match it to the "matchday revenue" in the accounts. You would see that due to concessions, season ticket prices (about 17£ a game full whack),Seniors,Kids and Students the "ticket price" is somewhere around £17 per person per match. How much farther can you cut it? what does a Salisbury match cost nowadays as a comparison? 13£ apparently (except concessions) so how far can you realistically cut our ticket price back?
  13. certainly not at Marseille, never played there (Chris Waddle did) CL winner Madrid 2000+2002 don't know if he played both finals though.
  14. I find winning very entertaining,sad huh!!
  15. As long as we win, therein lies the rub.Last season we were playing a lot of very mediocre players way way over the odds to err not win on a regular basis. Lowe covered this in one of his statements. He said paying players substantially over the average salary is OK-as long as they deliver, when they don't the problem has to be dealt with. This is the nub of the affair, when the figures come out you will see that our wage bill was probably at least the third highest in the CCC,probably above that even,we narrowly avoided relegation. Burley was probably one of the highest paid managers,Lowe appointed him as head coach, never made him manager-Wilde,Crouch,Corbett and McMenemy did that, they probably spiked his salary as well. A lot of money went out of the door for very little result ,that's the nub of the problem.I don't care who plays-as long as the end justifies the means, and that doesn't mean scraping out of relegation on the last day because another team lost, even though you have an annual player+coach salary mass approaching 12.5 million pounds.
  16. Do we need a new parking attendant then?
  17. Aha but that's yer average Brit abroad I'm afraid. I was lunching with a client in Paris the other day, some sharp suited ***t from Essex (couldn't be anywhere else) was insisting that the waiter brought him a bottle of cold Bojolis.
  18. You sound a bit peeved Phil, piissed off with the continual supply of holiday hunks nailing all the easy lays are you?? You lads still have it good though. When I was working in Kuwait donkey's year ago there was no booze, let alone women. We got piissed on an awful concoction made by fermenting grapefruit juice, ebven then it was better than Coca Cola, can't see how people can drink that stuff. No sooner did a few little illicit parties start up,a silly bint fell off a balcony and they were cracked down on.
  19. I'm not sure that Skacel (for whatever reason) plays any part in Jan's plans at the moment, otherwise he'd have been at least on the bench yesterday. It's a mystery, he should be playing but he ain't-why? who the fook knows, attitude, money, doesn't want to, does want to but no-one else wants him to? take your pick.
  20. Gasmi should be starting to train again in a couple of weeks, he's a pocket battleship, really strong and quick with it.Pity he'll not be ready for first team action for at least another month.
  21. I thought it was a creditable results as well, withstood a lot of pressure, fought back, didn't cave in at the end. A few of the lads will come out better and stronger players for that (I hope),a point from a tough game like that will probably do more good on the mental plan than thumping some League 2 side or other 5-0 (doesn't stop us beating Rotherham 5-0 though just to see).
  22. Don't be such a nervous nelly.
  23. So could most of the internet supporters it would seem.
  24. Not Rupert then
  25. Holmes or Skacel
