And I doubt if any of them earn a flat rate fixed sum per season. They'd all have incentive bonuses in their contracts. Same as players really, more they win, more they earn.

So Hants set 418, which of course they have virtually no chance of getting, Abbott opened with Soames but of course Soames didn't survive for very long. Whoever is persisting with Soames instead of Donald just needs sacking, the sooner the better.
