  1. Erratic is what you mean, which is probably why Juventus wanted to sell him.
  2. No it wasn't...........
  3. I saw it on TV, the video refs must have seen it as well. Clearly used her arm to control the ball.
  4. If the England team is anything like that of the USA it's no surprise really.
  5. Donald is a good player, far more experience than Weatherley, Soames or Organ. Just suppose we're trying to impose home grown players rather than Donald or Holland who came from elsewhere.
  6. Excellent day for Hants after a wobbly start. Should get past 500 well before lunch tomorrow and then try to bowl them out twice.
  7. 111/2 at lunch, much better then. Northeast past 50 and Holland showing that he can bat sensibly. Might have ridden his luck a bit in the early overs though.
  8. And with a grammatically incorrect title to boot.
  9. Warks at home today, looks like Holland and Organ are going to open the batting, let's face it it can't be any worse than Soames and Weatherly really. McManus to keep wicket, Donald back in, no Crane. Oh FFS: 13/2 again. Organ made 1 and Rahane out for 4, not a great investment by the looks of it.
  10. And I doubt if any of them earn a flat rate fixed sum per season. They'd all have incentive bonuses in their contracts. Same as players really, more they win, more they earn.
  11. Do the Germans actually know that ?
  12. In theory yes but it's a virtually impossible task which requires Pakistan to bat first, make a huge score and then skittle Bangladesh for just a few runs, somewhere between 30 and 100, depending on how many they make themselves. If Bangadesh bat first then Pakistan are out whatever the result..
  13. Aparently Marseille have been talking to his agent, don't know exactly when though. Seems like Saints are still talking to Celta Vigo about him as well. Goner.
  14. Not too quick, NZ need to assure that their RRR doesn't fall as low as to be accessible by Pakistan if they manage to inflict a severe thumping on Bangladesh on Friday...part of the plan :smug:.
  15. Bit of an England collapse today but they should be alright for the win. I can se Pakistan crying "fix" though.
  16. Didn't make lunch then, 104/9, Weatherly didn't bat, Alsop made the effort to come to the crease but Crane got out anyway. Just another shambles, nothing much else to add. We won't go down, we won't win the CC and I'd guess the players are more up for the T20 than anything else now.
  17. Well it's easy money isn't it, plus they'll be getting sacked soon so might as well go and extract the urite for a few weeks and claim pay and expenses for doing it. I mean let's face if we could all go and take the pyss down at Fratton for a while and get paid for it, we'd all do it right ?
  18. Well I expect it's because there were if you see what I mean. The girls don't take the ball behind their head as required by the laws of the game on many occasions. Then you have the cases like Parris who just let it slip out of her hands.
  19. Looking like we'll do well to make it through to lunch today. Rahane and Abbott gone already.
  20. Well, that's true of course, he'll be opening for England in the Ashes at that rate of improvement, so much the better for Hants, anywhere but here.
  21. So Hants set 418, which of course they have virtually no chance of getting, Abbott opened with Soames but of course Soames didn't survive for very long. Whoever is persisting with Soames instead of Donald just needs sacking, the sooner the better.
  22. Absolutely, it's just a shirt sponsor. No better or no worse than some iffy betting or foreign exchange outfit.
  23. I admire the confidence of the English girls in thinking that they can win but really if they avoid a hammering they'll have done well enough. Their game is too scholarly, too text-book to trouble over much the nearly real football game of the Yankesses.
  24. All out for 349, so 1 short of the 4th batting point then. Bowlers now getting hammered, well Crane in particular really, as Somerset look to set us a big target as soon as possible. Not over confident of not losing again.
  25. Hants fighting back a bit at tea, 246/5 I think. Rahane,Northeast and Rossouw made 200 between them, pity they aren't doing that from a platform of 50 or 60 without loss. Down to Fuller and Barker to try to get us up to 300 now.
