snow isn't really a problem though is it, if the pitch heating is on it will just melt.As for the surrounding area,well walking in snow isn't a great problem,unless of course you're in Jesus boots,it's when it gets all slushed up by cars,trucks and people and then ices over again.

Sunny for what it's worth, about -10°C,2 ft of snow on the ground.

Game being postponed wouldn't be the end of the world as far as I'm concerned.We're still convalescent and Birmingham are on a roll so another couple of weeks wouldn't be bad.

But now it's 15 wickets on the 1st day for less than 200 runs, it just isn't test cricket,probably because the wicket is unsuitable for 5 day matches. They'd be better off having 5 one day slog abouts than a test that will be over in 3 days again.
