In fact MLT scored about 1 in 5 of his goals from the spot, RL must be up around 1 in 3. MLT wasn't a mainline strike forward either.

How so, pfc's figures show that they made an overall profit, how did that contribute to their massive losses, easy answer it didn't. When your revenues decrease you have to sell assets to boost the balances and lower salarial mass,Harry did that for them. Portsmouth's cash problems are structural and certainly don't come from transfer dealings because at the end of the day they made money from that sector.Their problem seems to be that each new owner just takes on the debt of his predecessor and is always looking for payback, they are bound to lose money because they don't have enough fans to support whatever it is they're trying to do.
-
Now it would seem to me that Harry's commission was on profits on sales and not total sales.5% on 13 million profit would be about 500K or so, not 5.65 million.

[quote=Lazlo78;1268391 Would you find it to be ok if Adkins currently was on a similar deal? IMHO, such a deal would cast a shade of doubt over every transfer about who's the real beneficiary. Wouldn't worry me at all. Football clubs are businesses just like any other. If you've got a competent manager who can make you a few bob by selling players that he no longer wants then he deserves to share in the spoils. Harry Rednapp is a good football manager, more fool us for ****ing him off and not letting him do his job in the only way he knows. Rupert must have taken a few bob from transfers as well mustn't he,in dividends and the like.

Our front line has been shut down. Before Bristol City away 40 goals in 17 games Since 11 goals in 12 games Before Bristol City 5 penalties, after Bristol city 1 penalty. Looks like they've all caught on to that as well. this is all you need to know.

Anyway, we need to stop criticising all and sundry for this and that and turn our attention to the sharp end. Our strikers aren't scoring much and therein lies our problem. We have obtained 2 new strikers this window so maybe we will turn the corner. Football is about 1 thing, converting chances and we aren't doing that. Those who remember our relegation season with the Dutch duo may recall that before the situation got totally hopeless we made a lot of chances that would have won us matches and points and missed them all.We just couldn't score for toffee, even missed 2 penalties at Watford. When we start scoring from 25% of our chances again things will look up. And might I just add once again over 1/3 of Lambert's league goals have come from penalties...some of them very iffy ones at that.

How is it wrong? In any other sector if you make your employer a big profit on a transaction you may have the right to a bonus, so a football manager making profit at what he does best how is that so different. Bankers get bonuses for exactly the same thing, salemen get bonuses for selling more stuff. There's absolutely no difference, buy em cheap, sell them dear.

especially as Bale doesn't play at left back any more, hasn't done for several years. Can you compare Harding to Assou-Ekotto?? who knows really.

Looks like we may be on L'Equipe TV on Saturday, we always play well when we're on there, think we've been on 5 times so far, W4 and D1.

Saints 2 - 3 Millwall - Post Match Reaction
Window Cleaner replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Right seen the 20 minutes + all angles...woeful defending, please please get a CB in before Saturday. Camera angles may distort it but Reeves goal looks pretty offside to me, or at least Barnard does when the linesman flags him offside.Nothing to complain about...not a valid goal at all. Last but not least same old same old, chances going begging all of the time. -
maybe we're going to loan him to someone better than Yeovil.

WTF for? or should that be For what TF

he wriggles out of scrapes because they're so well set up I expect.Wouldn't surprise me if they set this one up with the intention of being "caught" and somewhere there's the real deal completely hidden from view .Still can't believe that HMRC went to trial with such a flimsy case, perhaps they thought there was more to find as well. I'd better watch out, they'll be after me soon for the 10K loan that I got from my Gran and never paid back.
-
Falque is about Puncheon, we obviously didn't count on some foolish manager or other not giving us a million £ for him.In fact we talked ourselves into a corner over Puncheon, not going out on loan again, only for sale etc etc. Then he had us over a barrel on restriction of trade and we had to climb down. Not that we're the losers mind you.
-
you have to have some defensive minded players at your disposal. We have signed too many attacking players and now we don't know what to do with them all,so afternoon off for the reserves again I guess.Probably why NA was so hacked off about losing in the cup,we have 23 or 24 players and only 16 are of much use to us at any one time.Reeves might even get the nod ahead of Chaplow on the bench as well.Time for some loan outs. Now if we'd had a defensive MF on the bench last night to come on at 2-1 and shut the game down by being boring and passing the ball back and sideways we might be a damn sight better off today.

Yes we've got 2, both Invicta, both develop about 10KW. We've got some woodland as well so between dead trees and compact logs that I buy at the local forestry co-operative it works out quite well. Fitted them myself but by using existing chimneys and just running down the necessary stainless steel tubing (which costs quite a bit) Great things to have but unless you've got a free supply of about half the wood I wouldn't know that they cost any less to run than Gas Fired CH (but then I don't know anything about gas prices in the UK). We use them in conjunction with Ceramic Electric Storage radiators and it's an OK solution. £500 looks a bit cheap for a "decent model" though. Think we paid over 1000 euros each for both of ours.
-
Anyone else get the impression that NA was pretty miffed that we didn't sign Josh Wright? Surely we could have if we'd wanted to.
-
Like the Scots wll be in it......................Probably won't even show it on Scots TV,there must be barrel throwing or log chopping that they're better at to fill prime TV time.
-
Thing is we don't know who's fit, who isn't and who's only half fit most of the time. I mean look at De Ridder last night, seems to me that he broke down with the same hamstring problem that's been plaguing him for a while now,was asking to be subbed long before it actually happened apparently. Then there was what I can only believe was stuborness over Chaplow, surely 30 at the end for him would have given Reeves a far more beneficial airing if he had the type of game which many seem to think he did. I had the impression from Sunday onwards when NA started saying Chaplow and Lee would start that he didn't much care whether we won or not.If we'd really wanted to win the starting side last night would have been different because we would have played with at least one of the2 main ball recoverers who can actually play a defensive role.
-
We'll never find out probably,we don't have the type of match needed to give him any playing time and we have far too many of our own players to fill the bench.Pity really but our system won't suit him anyway.Probably needs a 4-3-3 same as Tottenham. Don't know why we don't use it really, we have all the elements needed.

NFL Season 2011/2012 (includes cheerleader pics)

You'll regret that.... -
Not the same though is it. This is about unpaid taxes and contributions, don't think there's any dispute about the validity of them. The Harry and Milan case was about tax evasion that they just couldn't prove. If the case had been brought in Scotland they may have obtained a "Not Proven" verdict which is not the same as not guilty. No Evidence=Reasonable Doubt=Not Guilty according to the English system.
-
So would I, this is our first XI and right now that's all that counts.Good to see Nigel protecting the engine room last night even if he knew we'd probably lose without them.First time we'll have played what I consider as a first team since what Bristol away and even then it didn't last long. Pompey away wasn't bad, nearly all there but most of the other games we've always been without either Jos, Rickie,José or Adam and it shows.

Because the HMRC case just didn't exist.Mr A gives Mr B money in a Monaco bank account so it must be taxable no matter what it's for. They'd make more money if they started trying to tax prostitutes on their earnings.Mr A gives Ms C money in cash so it must be because he fancies her and wants her to buy herself a diamond necklace....yeah right.
