Kenny Jackett usually gets the best out of most players because really with the team they had last season they shouldn't have been above us -10 or no -10.

Lambert, Schneiderlin and Fonte are all underperforming by last season's standards.They were all here last season to gain promotion, it is common knowledge (well LB told us so anyway) that Schneiderlin wanted to leave last May.Probably not of his own doing but the FFF will have been getting on at him about it again.They see him as a future international and are probably not happy with the standard of play in our league or maybe even the day to day coaching that he gets.

Still if he was on say 15K a week up there and not being used,half a season would cost them about 400K anyway, plus the 3 months that he'll already have been here (perhaps we aren't paying all his salary as yet) adds up to a tidy sum really.Bout 600K all told.

Some people say whatever suits them. I said towards the end of last season that some players wouldn't fancy another season in Div 3 any too much, 4 of them to be precise, all 4 of them have been underperforming and now one has left, for the time being anyway.The other 3 will surely follow. The next 2 games will be decisive for our season because we'll need another 60 points or so from our remaining 30 games,win both and we're on our way,lose both and it's virtually all over, win one,lose one...well we'll see.

You should have heard Wenger and the other TF1 commentator going on about their lack of technical ability. On an aside note Wenger said that Theo is the fastest player in Europe.

No Ron,it was a good French side, don't confuse a type of football you either don't like or don't understand with the efficiency of the players executing it.Many of your English papers say that it was a decent side the French put out.This is the way football is played in France (and most of continental europe) the English just don't understand it that's all because it's not gung ho enough for them.

Anyway it's not up to the players to dictate systems.I suspect that they were more surprised about the team composition than anything else.Perhaps Barnard is being punished for bringing the club into disrepute or some old wives tale like that. LB said yesterday (or the day before) that Morgan's 2 sendings off last season got him into fairly hot water. Barney has been sent off and had a night club bust up, perhaps his slate hasn't been wiped clean as yet.

I guess the club isn't run in the way he wants then.Leave him be.

But why does a poster who's been on the various incarnations of this forum since October 2007 suddenly have an issue with the new CEO, it's obviously linked in some way to the previous manager because it only started when AP was gone,and yet the poster has been here for a long time.I really can't believe he'd be doing it because his ST payment plan had been taken away. It's something to with AP, one of his staff or a personal grudge for some reason or other.
