just heard on the news that some BA staff think they have it wrong on the striking issue..some believe that the union has led them up the garden path a tad
the lure of premiership football is what will make their catchment area massive..
would we have fans from where we do all over the south if for the last 25 years we hand been in div 3 or div 4...of course not
well..the population of Devon and Cornwall is about 1.2 million...
premiership football is miles away from this amount of people
should plymouth go up...im sure they could command big crowds..many of whom would be plastic fans..
the whole of the southwest have been starved of top flight football for how long..?
should plymouth get into the top flight, added with all the potential plastics from say a 100 mile radius...they COULD draw big crowds
I think saints are the nearest traditional top flight team over the years..and we are what..160-170 miles away..
the potential is massive

I live in plymouth and I can tell you that if they got promoted to the prem, their are hundreds of thousands of people they can call upon to be plastic fans..
hell, even I would venture down to get the odd match in...
