No matter what you type will ever change my mind about burley...thank god he is getting shown up in a bigger stage and Scotland fans are largely baffled by his selections as much as we were... no point in trying to post counter arguements as my mind will never change about Burley

ron atkinson was doing well when he was at ipswich...as was joe kinnear ffs.. Heart..hmm he had 16 games..would you say Phill Brown was dynamite after the first 16 games last season with Hull...? mate..he was a great player...but please dont try to tell me that when they had money on it their sole intention WAS to kick the ball out of play and GIVE the ball AWAY...only one occaision was mentioned...and they ****ed up and had to get the ball back to GIVE IT AWAY as quick as possible as they were going to lose too much money... dont worry about getting an early goal in said game...not as if we needed every goal and point we could find.. like I said, he was a great player for us..just a bit let down by this bit when his head was elsewhere at the start of a game BRIEFLY

IMO because so many saints fans strive for mediocrity...look this season..despite the best of alot of things by a country mile in this league...for TOO many, just staying up will make them happy and anyone who says otherwise is ridiculed... we should realise who we are in this league, make SMS a hostile place and go into games KNOWING we SHOULD win...not being happy with a draw against a pointless team in league 1... striving for "just enough" really does come from the stands...it is such an awful attitude.. that is why I like pardew..straight away he wanted top 2...then min that is not possible, he will then want top 6 etc etc.. what is the point in "just enough"....... reach for the stars and you may hit the trees

with the biggest relative transfer budget EVER at saints.. doing well at scotland..infact, I cant wait till that waster gets bombed out of the job (their fans are saying the very same strange things as we did) and he is away from football as long as possible

well..we went down from the prem by ultimately one goal...that is the margins of success and defeat

there is one thing where a player messed up and let the ball go out. there is another when a player deliberately tried to give the ball away..and (in the case mentioned) the player he tried to kick it over kept it in and Le Tiss and Watson set about to get the ball off the said saintd player to kick it out...so trying TWICE

so, arry is OK to make a dodgy transfer to get 4 months salary when at saints..as he was accused as much..after all, majority of people would do it..

so, are you dont mind a saints player betting on a game that he is directly involved in, knowing that every point was massibely vital...where his firth thought at kick off was how quickly he (and another) could give the ball away...

you say wright wanted to play..i will never forget (or forgive) watching him not bother running with his man (he just stopped and gave up) when we lost a game at home...that was not the action of someone wanting to play for us. im sure you will make an excuse for that, or even forgive it..
