bentley likes to gob off about being his "natural replacement"... capello clearly likes theo out there as his pace alone gives us a completely different dimension...keeps the opposition back line alot further back..allowing more space for the midfielders to get into the game... lets hope theo gets back to what he was showing before his injury.. as for beckham..he is still world class..and it is quite embarassing that he was dropped...he is a "bigger" player than all the others for england yet is by far the best pro and shows his passion for england, despite who he is and what he has... capello clearly is not daft and will keep becks in the picture as long as he is doing the business at a good level..and the italian game would (and clearly does) suit him right now.

the probably wont..but it will be very embarassing if Ambush is ready before Astute.... more than likely, they will pull man power from the other 3 in build and put them onto Astute....

he type 45 are late...the astute class subs are farking late... my mate is on HMS Astute and the word on the street is that HMS Ambush willbe ready before hand and there is a good chance THAT will be renamed HMS Astute to cover up the embarassment.. one thing..if these new 45's and Astutes do what they say they will be some serious bits of kit..

but that is it..we have a decent team if set up in a balanced way...with good, talanted options on the bench not world beaters but better than where we are IMO

to me...that is pretty much the best team...it has more experience and in BWP and rudi..we have people who either work hard and/or know how to defend.... more importantly...experince down the spine of the team..

Just asking a question to those who hace seen recent games...reading post match comments many people say lallana has been ineffective and/or a burden in wide positions as he "drifts in" and offers no defensive cover in his position leaving inexperienced full backs exposed.. interesting to hear contrasting comments about sagga last night saying he defended from the front, something lallana AND DMG dont offer and it showed and turned the game.. would we dare..(it seems like swearing to many on here) to drop lallana for the good of the team and have a balanced team.. something like this perhaps.. davis james size perry molyneaux bwp surman euell rudi/holmes sagga DMG you get my drift...more of a balanced shape..I know BWP is not the best, but he does work the channels etc..

what is bad is when the government award chunks (and big chunks) of the contract to build the new super carriers to a french company (i think)...
