I'm sure pardew had a hand in what was a bit of a mess in pre season.... look either way it matters not, we are top of the league and this is a position I don't think we would have been playing the way we did under pardew, but that is my opinion....good luck to him..he will bloody need it the minute results go the other way and the "geordie nation" turn on another southerner
