  1. with a note saying "to feeder club, with love.. SAINTS xxx"
  2. we have a really good spine of the team...I can see why we are being picky and choosy about who we get in... Kelvin - good keeper at this level Fonte - say no more...pure class Morgan - has the tools to stand out and I think he will do Lallana - pure genuis OxO - enough said Lambert - The way I saw him change his game last season leads me to believe he will be good enough for at least 15 league goals with as many assists.. shouts also to.. Chappers - experienced barny - potential to do well at this level connolly - easily..EASILY good enough...if/when fit harding - been there, done that in the NPC I can see why we are not just signing anyone at silly money I really think we have a good foundation of a team..even if OxO goes...he is probably easier to replace out of the list at the top just my opinion....please verbally abuse me for daring to have one
  3. really good news...has great potential
  4. just seen an interview on SSN. yep fair play to him...says he likes to mouth off before the fight...talks the talk etc and this time was well beaten.... wants a re-match and feels that the money he generates will get him that... very sorry to fans for letting them down and he absolutely gutted he did what he did.....still, klitchko never KO him like he said he would
  5. christ..does it matter what the wording is....fact is (you have to get used to it) we are not at the top of the picking tree for transfers this summer
  6. 2nd homes....was that the norm in the 60's..?
  7. why the fascination about owning your home....maybe because I have a job where it means I can move but never understand the "must have" in buying a house.. also, if some people never had £45 per month iphones, £50 per month sky and holidays every year..they could afford other things.... I wonder what the average person has is terms of disposable income now than years gone by...when I say disposable..that is after paying your mortgage/rent... fuel water and your essential food shopping with basic clothing.... I would GUESS that todays generation has more to fritter away on car/sky/PS3/iphones/holidays/season tickets/bigger house/nights on the pop etc etc...
  8. The definition of nothing has changed over the years. Sorry to offer an opinion In future can you jut list the rules of your thread, the boundaries where we can comment from and who is allowed to post Will leave you like minded snobs to all hob nob on this thread and ultimately agree with each other
  9. Ok. People with nothing now have more than those with nothing back In 1963 IMO
  10. Because that is one little thing that happened an IMO a completely undeserved perk and when you look at things like this, hard to say how hard people really have it.. In general. I grew up with nothing, nothing in the early 80s as a toddler was very different to "nothing" now Good or bad, that is a different argument. But life for those at the bottom is easier now Than it was 25 years ago
  11. I read people going on about how hard it is to get a mortgage etc etc what is the obssession in this country about getting on the property ladder..? it really is something you "must" do in the UK....no matter what life luxurys today make day to day living easier than ever before......an ex work in social care and up until recently the amount of free laptops she had to give out....delivering free bus passes to "scum bag" families as they refused to walk round the corner to pick them up....free voucher etc..all these things she could never afford herself whilst struggling to pay her mortgage...she was dishing out to benefit families who all had a sky dish on the house and a car in the driveway...... one impression I get from a generation in the 60's is they they never expected anything on a plate and worked hard (generally) (not all were scum bag families..but she said more were than were not)
  12. christ, its pizzing down there
  13. when I read the title of the thread...I was not actually expecting to see an actual ride on a narrow boat on offer...
  14. i saw that too...the record they were miming too started to jump...
  15. he has gone..not great loss at all....he would hardly get a game in league 1..what chance would he have in the NPC when we are actively chasing players like jack cork he probably wont even be a regular for hudds.....
  16. at the end of the day, we cant keep every player. he has done very little in league 1 to suggest he is going to be anything better than what we have now, let alone where we want to be... good luck to him...he may come good, he more than likely wont (imo).....
  17. bet her took on her children without question too (lets face it, she is bound to have baggage)
  18. FUK OFF...haha first sniff and he is off....these people are usually the sort that need a lady in their lives no matter what as they dont get it often...I have seen these people..they fall in love with their first **** etc
