bye then..dont let the "door" bite you on the way out
-
if it is a fookwit forum..then see you later..if you dont like it..dont log on...
-
wasted..or well spent to get us up... before, the money spent by saints was seen as "investment"...
-
no..but then NC has stated that MORE investment would be made to take us up... so far, they have backed our manager relatively like we have not seen before..or ever seen before..
-
when you spend more than the rest of your own division combined and also enhance teh already prem standard training ground...then yes..I would say they have put up the cash so far compare that to say, Exeter..they recent paid a fee for a player..which is the first time they have done so for over 7 years....it was quite big news
-
but that (it seems) is what the powers at be want...and so far have really put their money where their mouths are..
-
I think Hull did it maybe Wigan..? Fulham..? Reading..? Leicester are in with a shout too
-
what I meant was that you have a feel for what is going on and (imo) are one of the few posters that have more of an informed opinion than many of us (obviously including me) and when you, FF and one or two others make subtle points, it does not get lost on some of us..
-
thing is Derry...no one wants to entertain it...people gloss over that NC is not a football man anc comes from a sector where people demand instant success.. he only has to look up the league at teams with manager who have had LESS time and far less money than pardew and are doing the real business..
-
which is probably more than abour 21 teams in league 1
-
then people who have never served on a UK submarine will be telling others how policy change will not be a problem.. nutters
-
cant someone put a spoof HT song request in.....claiming it is for someone birthday..?
-
and I know you are connected with people at the club...
-
you are equally guilty then...
-
so, the current rate of dropping poits from winning positions is nothing to worry about..? NB - even pardew has mentioned this is a concern..
-
who is the nagative one..the one who posts an opinion on a message board or the one that throws out the insults in a fit...?
-
i THINK the answer is no....which really, is very average no matter what side of the arguement you have... like I said, im THINK the answer is no..
-
usually..it does again, have we been within 10 points of the playoffs after game 1 or so of the season..?
-
well..quite a few people who went yesterday say we are going backwards...and the same people who went to brentford.. unless you went to those...right..? or were you sat behind a computer..?
-
the crux of the matter will be if we even look like playoff contenders at the end of the season..if not, then pardew may well have had his last job for a long time.. have we at any point been within 10 points of the playoffs this season after the 1st game..?
-
you brought it up.....making a point about me being wrong but as it seems wotte did not do a bad a job as people make out...in a league lower a new team had to be bought to maintain mid table mediocricy
-
I will tell you..I backed the guy in charge...I still thought he was shyt but he had no hope...and that no hope has been backed up by the fact we have a new team in a league lower.. I also picked up on burley being a dud waaaaaay before most...any chance of congratulating me for that..?

A crusty old General died and found himself standing before Saint Peter at the pearly gates. Peter welcomed him warmly, "Come right in, General - you've served your country well and you may enter Heaven!" The General looked thru the gates and stepped up to Saint Peter, "Just one thing, sonny. I hope there are no Sailors here. They are the rudest, most obnoxious variety of human ever, and if there are any of them here, I'm not going in; I'd rather go to the other place." "Don't worry, General," said Saint Peter. "No Sailor has ever made it into Heaven. You'll find none of 'em here." So, the General goes on into Heaven. Moments later, he comes upon an amazing sight. It is a swaggering figure in blue, cap tilted slightly on his head, a mostly empty bottle of Navy Rum in one hand, and a beautiful woman on either arm. Incensed, the General rushes back to Saint Peter and gets in his face. "Hey! You said there were no Sailors here! So what the hell is THAT?!?" "Don't worry, General," says Saint Peter gently. "That's God. He just THINKS he's a Sailor."

because it is a message board and a fair few people are starting to wonder what is going on with regards to the first team....not loads but a few..? add the guardian article where pardew himself claims he has to go ot the chairman and explain when we dont play well and the pressure is really on him... if you dont like the thread then ignore it...enough people ignore it, the quicker it drops off the page...
