cork and shaw have been excellent...added much needed balance and steel to the defensive unit....shaw (at this rate) is on to far bigger things than saints. he just needs that little bit of luck with injuries in the next few years and hope we dont go down

how on earth was that moaning...it is stating a fact about our upturn.....which is the complete opposite at the start of the season...when fixures were directly blamed for our very poor start.....

brighton away was pure luck dont get me wrong...we had ours....away to leeds, away to millwall...but the amount of times they got battered at walked away with a win was more than normal...leeds at home..burnley at home...west ham away, brighton away, saints away..

having the run of fixtures from swansea to sunderland on saturday...probably the best set of fixtures anyone in this league could ever hope for...

sorry, but it was luck...

you just know that when downing moves...gets played regularly in a different team...he will quickly become the very good premier league player he was at villa I remember some of those saying 'no thanks' above..said the same about bassong and how terrible he was last season.. as we very well know..some players just dont fit at some teams
