Just noticed this thread. I am going to replace our battered carpet in the front room. Not sure what to. We have pets ,teenagers,and its covered in Red bull and coffee stains. I have visions of a wooden floor being noisy and difficult to clean ,surely you dont just flick the Dyson over it.. I suppose you can get waterproof hard wearing carpets , but are they expensive ? Any other suggestions ?

We weren't schitt first half we were excellent. Yes we did miss Rodriguez. Second half we looked a different team misplaced passes etc. I do believe our "World Cup" players were playing a little bit careful which affected the team. One thing that did **** me off when were attacking near corner post and passed it back when surely occasionally a quick wack across the penalty box along the ground would have been more effective. Also very impressed with the Cardiff fans, very loud and passionate.
