Although I share the concerns mentioned in the opening thread I will at least applaud JP's honesty - it is refreshing to hear a manager, sorry head coach, tell things as they are. But Svensson's knee is even more important now Davies looks like he is going and just what is wrong with Dyer and BWP. We are tetering on the edge of a precipice no doubt about it.

What concerns me is I doubt Rupert Lowe knows that much about AD's playing abilities, having hardly seen him play. Could it be that it appears his fee is not realistic? As JP is not calling the shots here we could have a case of Rupert Lowe dropping a clanger. If we need to sell so be it but's lets get a proper fee.

I wish the OS would stop using the adjective "mouth watering" when previewing an upcoming fixture. They virtually use that word every time.

Agreed but I suppose he was a useful back up option.

I think I read that the loan fee was only payable if Bolton stayed up, which they did, so I suppose it was 700 grand well spent.

I seem to remember loads of fans on the old forum were keen to see him appointed when Burley decamped to Scotland.

Considering he seemed to be an in demand manager last season it is strange that Billy Davis has not found another club yet.
