No they factored in a 3pp polling error (as a robustness check rather than as a baseline scenerio in their model) and still had her up in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania. Plenty of egg on their faces.
-
The Associated Press has called Pennsylvania for Trump. Essentially game over. Trump's won.
-
FiveThirtyEight has had a shocker (albeit not as bad as some of the other prognosticators). The boy wonder's (lucky) run has come to a spectacular end.
-
Yep- many traditional Republicans have also been given a kicking by this result (if it holds).
-
Go and put your aprons on pal. The sneering liberal elite narrative is only one, smallish element of what's going on - then again you don't probably never really visited the country. Disneyland doesn't count.
-
??? It's already been called and reflected in Clinton's numbers.
-
You think Trump's going to be rolling out free trade deals left, right and centre Guess as a naive Brit, you don't have much of an idea what Trump represents. It's America first - if anything it's going to be open season for US private healthcare lobbyists who want to crack open the NHS.
-
Fox calling Wisconsin for Trump. Clinton's blue wall been breached. Massive.
-
Wayne County picking up for Clinton, reducing Trump's lead in Michigan. Milwaukee also coming to her rescue in Wisconsin.
-
Florida was always a state he couldn't afford to lose - a necessary but insufficient condition; he also had to break Clinton's firewall in the north (which he's threatening to do).
-
Fox calling North Carolina for Trump (it was the first to call Virginia for Clinton). Wayne County (Detroit) shaping up to be interesting. A traditional Democrat stronghold, so Clinton needs to do well there to offset Trump's gains in rural Michigan yet is woefully underperforming Obama. Whatever the result, looks like the GOP will control both the House and Senate, so even a Clinton win is likely to be a poisoned chalice.

Carnage. I despise Clinton but never expected this. Going to the wire.
-
Disagree. MP got it far more than most.

As I say I'm not judging you. You're free to be whoever or whatever you want on this place. If that's an obsessive fifty something year old who spends his time stalking people and having a tantrum because people don't agree with them -like a cross between josef fritzl and kevin the teenager, that's your prerogative. We're all wired a bit differently, aren't we?
-
Don't worry: while others are jumping to conclusions, I'm not judging you. I bet you're completely normal offline. Will you be in Prague? Live and let live is my motto.

ALWAYS_SFC could learn something from your class and composure pal.

Don't think he would have done much tbh. He's very useful when we're playing on the counter and need an outlet to keep defences honest, less so when we have plenty of possession and need to make something happen.
-
It's already cost. Bournemouth away last season sticks out.
-
Not the first time you've mentioned this. You got a scat thing pal?
-
And nothing wrong with that. Perfectly happy with midtable this season as the price to be paid for playing in Europe. That said it will be interesting to see how we play when the EL breaks for just over two months - to see how far performances are a product of personnel, formation or fixture congestion.

Problem is Redmond is our only real option with pace. Unless you're starting Long who's a square-peg-in-a-round-hole and not particularly pacy with the ball at his feet, it'll be very easy for teams to squeeze up on us.
-
Suspect he'll start after the international break. Question is whether he sacrifices Redmond or Tadic to do so or tries to accommodate all three.
-
Out of sight suggests we were creating chances . We weren't. Other than a couple of half-chances in the final few mins of the first half, we were comfortable, nothing more.
