  1. Exactly we smashed a side that's widely tipped to go down. I do think we played well at Arsenal in the league; but in general our performances have not raised any trees.
  2. He looked like the only player willing to commit the opposition and drag players out of position; but he dwelt too long on the ball and his decision-making was generally poor.
  3. Is good on the ball but seems a player better cut out for five-a-side than the full thing.

    **** off

    He might be blind.
  5. So? Perhaps we've overpaid for players and our scouting and recruitment arent as good as is hyped.
  6. So? We've overpaid for some bang average players. The idea that we've discovered some kind of alchemy with our black box and scouting system is b*****ks. We're no better or worse than any other team when it comes to identifying players. We seem to have bought our own hype, thinking that we don't need to buy proven, premier league quality or that we can limit our spending because every replacement is somehow going to be a success. It's also not an either/or: some responsibility lies with Puel; some lies with the squad. That said the first XI is nowhere near as strong as last or even previous seasons.
  7. Has their keeper made a save tonight?
  8. Redmond needed to release that earlier.
  9. 7.2/10 What it lacks in originality is made up for in effectiveness. Deliberately downplaying the opposition to set the side up for a fall is always good value.
  10. For a player who prides himself on his finishing, I generally think Austin has been pretty wasteful this season. It's all the more important as his all round game is distinctly average.
  11. No Les: some of the points are factual statements. You may disagree with the way they've been interpreted; but if so, be explicit and state your reasons rather than hide behind your favourite smoke-and-mirrors tactic of claiming its all 'conjecture and speculation', unworthy of a response. Don't be scared pal
  12. Jacob Rees Mogg who thinks Indian safety standards are good enough for the UK. As ever, the joke is at the plebs expense.
  13. What do you think of the rotation system AS?
  14. Publicly is the common spelling and used far more frequently. Publically is the nonstandard spelling and omitted from some dictionaries. That's moot, though. You made an even bigger tit of yourself by conjuring publicity out of nowhere when in fact I used publicly throughout. Not content at being just a moron, you did that not once but several times to the point of self-congratulation -all while getting Fonte's situation back-to-front. Publicity? Really can you read or see Take a bow, you daft yokel. Some exemplary work here.
  15. Publicly pal; not publicity. That's what I wrote the first, second and third time. You might want to get a dictionary as well as some glasses, you blind yokel
  16. Lost you pal. Publicity: you might want get some glasses as well
  17. The reports I've seen claim he wants a longer contract. And yes it's publicly.
  18. If you belive the reports pal, he's not mocked the figure; rather the length of the contract. Btw its publicly.
  19. Greggs is a culinary highlight - you might want to check that out too.
  20. Surely the club can offer a longer contract - with compensation partly conditional on appearances. It's not an either/or.
  21. Let's stick to the football pal.
  22. Are you Mark Regev?
  23. I guess you were opposed to the sporting boycott of South Africa?
  24. VectisSaint in mistake shocker.
