  1. Mick O'Callaghan looked like a Flash Gordon Watson mini-me on SSN
  2. Perhaps you meant Wang Jianlin? I take it all back
  3. Before someone else covers your post in a jizz of facepalms and mcinnes You do realise that Dalian Wanda is not a person? That it is a name of a company, derived from where its headquarters are located, Dalian, China. File away in the thick MLT b******t folder
  4. Any word on whether Mike Osman's returning as matchday MC?
  5. I thought she like men?
  6. Bread and circuses for the m**gs
  7. On SSN said she was holding informal talks with MP before the press conference. Doubt she'll take part.
  8. The little fella's positively drowning.
  9. S**t- all our players have been flogged off and only the bare bones of our championship side remain.
  10. The beeb report is the most plausible thing I've read, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25755711
  11. The itai reports suggesting he wanted a change of scenery make more sense now. Hard to believe he was oblivious to the off the field problems.
  12. Will go in the summer -gives him and the other coaches time to line something up and Liebherr can exit without having to force a hasty sale through.
  13. They must be the bedsit captains of industry. If the BBC article is correct (I find their interpretation plausible), then Cortese was probably going to leave in the next two to three years anyway. Presumably the hope was that with further investment, he could take us to the next level and increase the value of the club further. Liebherr's daughter probably thinks we've maxed out and things can't get any better without incurring undue risk. Hence the demand for an immediate exit, something Cortese doesnt want to preside over. The summer will be the biggest test and who we're sold to. There's some potential upside if we fall into the right owner's lap but as you say a hell of a lot of downside.
  14. So much for Clotese (), the dwarf wop, being just another faceless CEO who can be replaced at a drop of a hat.
  15. Mine is Poolgate also know as Windowgate - Franny's legal case against Cortese for not cleaning the pool or windows.
  16. No chance. Timing is due to the start of the Japanese football season like it was last year when he went out on loan.
  17. Most are thick as **** - you'd think they would be rejoicing tonight at the achievement of their m**g's charter: the demise of the dwarf wop Clotese (), the likely return of stripes and comedy nights with matt, mike and fran. But simultaneously a m**g can't turn down an opportunity for a cheap laugh at someone's physical failings. All part of their MO.
  18. Not saying that they will - just saying that being advised by lots of smart people isn't a reason to be confident unless you know what ends they're applying their smarts to.
  19. Not sure what your point is - agree that she'll operate professionally and effectively but that could mean any number of things as we don't know her goals and motivations. Ideally it would mean she flawlessly executes the vision and legacy left by Cortese and her old man but it could equally mean that she and her advisors find the most clinical and uncompromising way to strip the clubs assets. There is no contradiction between acting professionally and creating instability if this indeed is her our aim. We just don't know - what I know is the fact that Liebherr has the smartest minds around her isn't per se a cause for comfort.
  20. Illingsworth just got shot to pieces on Radio 5 for claiming chairmen don't particularly matter and turnover would barely cause a ripple in other clubs like United.
  21. To be reinvested (in full) or tucked down Liebherr's bra for her own keeping?
