Good episode - was wondering how long it would take for Hank to confront Walt (or vice-versa) - whether it would be a long drawn out cat and mouse game. Think it works much better now that they've cut to the chase.

Exactly- an utterly bizarre post. Support has nothing to do with whether a player is good or not good enough.

My mistake - good spot. As you say, a long way to travel and probably why they didn't feature yesterday.
-
Surprised if Yoshida and Ramirez start or feature given they're playing in a friendly in Japan on the Thursday.
-
We've supposedly set a Wednesday deadline, at least in terms of getting an answer.

Really? It's about variety. Do we have players who are direct and can get behind a team? Jrod's managed in it flashes - the others don't play that way.

Whoever's been on the right where we've chopped and changed -Guly (yesterday), Punch, Ramirez etc
-
Principally plays on the left but Redknapp put him on the right where he looked a lot more dangerous. Allows him to cut inside which our teams seem encouraged to do.

Worth a flutter One footed but so is Gareth Bale - was v.good last season and teams still had problems playing against him once it was clear he was one of QPR's main and only attacking threats.
-
Wouldnt be surprised if that was Hoddle Beatts was alluding to.

Quality player-great running off the ball.

'Figured' is the operative word - not sure how many minutes he played given most of his appearances were from the bench. Indeed, not sure if he would have got those games under MP had Guly been fit and Davis not been covering for Gaston (he didn't feature much under NA after his early baptism of fire). He was basically deployed as a fresh pair of legs to close a game out - hardly a ringing endorsement. With Wanyama joining and Cork who is streets ahead of JWP at the moment possibly dropping to the bench, JWP's chances are likely to be even more limited. Might be good to keep him around as insurance but I think our interests would be served by him getting regular games from the start and learning what it means to be the focal point of another team, something which is lacking from his neat-and-tidy but relatively toothless game. This says nothing about what he might go on and achieve -I appreciate he's 18 ffs. Rather its about what he contributes in the here and now and how best we can leverage his potential over the long-term.
